  1. I’m sure this: is entirely intended, right Devs? I mean that’s some QUALITY boon support at its finest, amirite?
  2. My dude, While I fully and completely recognize you’re making this post to play the part of the peacekeeper, you do need to understand that the feedback you seem to be receiving is woefully one-sided (spoilers - not in your Balance Patch’s favor). You've got a Balance Patch that is astonishingly anything-but-balanced in its blatant and obvious nerfing of Power builds (which appears to be specifically and purposefully targeting your end-game speed clearing communities). I mean good lord your changes to One Wolf Pack, just as an example, are absolutely soul crushing. You’ve got a bunch of Devs that don’t know anything about the classes they’re “balancing” (as has been documented by numerous Discord leaks); who also appear to be flat ignoring feedback from players invited to participate in discussions concerning the balance, who have many, —many— hours on the classes they’re discussing. And those same Devs are buffing (or making changes that don’t really affect much of anything) their pet classes (again, as per the aforementioned leaked Discord conversations) which are already some of the best classes in the game (I.e., Firebrand, Mechanist, Virtuoso, just to name a few). Not to mention you’ve got Devs that are literally on record to have kitten-talked your player base, and/or indicated they live on the salt derived from their decisions. Your reasons for doing so are so clear that you might as well title this Patch (and any similar reductions-in-skill-ceilings) “Steam Patch,” as what you’re doing is meant to entirely cater to your Steam release. After all, that presumed new influx of players will want to Strike and Raid and do all that jazz as AS as AP as possible. Hence Raid Easy Mode and massive increases to Strike rewards. And in doing so, class identity, in terms of how they provide support in groups is shrinking, as a majority of classes just provide boons. And those classes that provide boons in an inefficient manner are becoming more irrelevant (I’m looking at you, Banners [I mean seriously, these have to be picked up and moved again?]). I mean, it’s your game and all, but (Owen Wilson) WOW, maybe like, consider the feedback you’re being presented by your players before giving them the finger and saying “I do what I want.”
  3. Unironic question, Does the team responsible for issuing these balance patches actually play the game at all? Because, honestly, it seems like the answer is, 'no, not really.'
  4. Hello! I am a long-time player recently (5 months) returning the game. I am presently involved in some raiding, a lot of fractals, WvW, and many different metas. If you're still recruiting, I would love to talk to you :).
  5. Is a difficult open world meta something GW2 should have? Sure, why not? Is this, that? No. Dragon's End is not a meta event. Dragon's End is a Raid. Period. And is that a good thing? No, it really isn't. An Open World Raid is going to be something the average, casual player is going to struggle to complete, is going to be griefed for not being "pro" (just look at some other threads were people are like 'u ned 2 git gud'), or is going to be trolled by people who purposefully work to make the event fail. Does the this event need to change? I would say so, yes. However, I am not a game designer, so I don't have the first suggestion as to how. But based on the in game feedback for this event (and the majority of responses, so it appears, on this forum), the player base seems to think this event is... awful.
  6. All complaints aside, If I had to pick one thing and only ONE thing to complain about... It's that your Meta events for all EOD maps consistently crash mid-event. And not like, for one person. I can't count on both hands the number of Meta events I've been involved in this week where my entire squad got booted and upon zoning back in, zoned back into a map that did not do the pre-events and therefore the Meta was already over and dead (not event mentioning the number of times the cannons in Seitung spawning without Break Bars, thus making the event impossible to complete. And with the EOD Meta events being quite long, this is especially infuriating when you're 15 minutes in, or at the freaking boss of the event. This is a serious problem for your current expansion and needs to be addressed.
  7. Ritualist’s Major - Condition Damage / Vitality | Minor - Concentration / Expertise Dragon’s - Major Power / Ferocity | Minor - Precision / Vitality Are these supposed to be impressive? Like, seriously, these stat combinations are trash outside a small handful of specific boss fights or possibly WvW, maybe.
  8. Genius move, Anet. This adjustment will make Mystic Coins skyrocket in price, causing your average player to have no feasible means of purchasing them. They will be forced to run the new Strikes, even if they don't want to. "The removal of Mystic Coin drops from Challenge Mode bosses creates room for us to add a consistent and predictable source of Mystic Coins to strikes." Jamming a specific content down people's throats is not going to make them like it kitten.
