My guild prefers the borderlands to EB usually in a 5-10 person squad or solo roaming. My experience since the patch is that the dynamics of the game have changed significantly. Immediately after the last two server resets there have been only about10 people queued to get into EB and the borderlands have had one or two or no queue at all. Compare that to the previous weeks when there would be 50 people queued to get into EB and 15-20 waiting to get into each borderland. The conclusion would be that the number of people wanting to play wvw has dropped significantly. Given how many characters I used to see afk at the waypoint I find it hard to believe that all those people were pip farmers. Where there used to be other small teams or roamers there is now a single zerg k-training the map or there is literally no one at all. Last night there were 3 of us playing on the map and we were not outnumbered. More often than not a tower or keep is now fitted with nothing but sabotage depot to deny the enemy supply. If by some miracle it escapes the attention of the k-trains and reaches tier 3, a call for assistance to defend it often falls on deaf ears. The one time I was running with a friendly zerg and we did defend a keep the tag was screaming blue murder because no one had repaired the wall from the previous time it had been attacked.

To me that argument makes about as much sense as the Mayor of New York nuking the city to reduce street crime.
