  1. Ah yes let’s have a specific beta server where we only see 3-5 players in large instances and see how they get the job done.
  2. You should try Triple Trouble Wurm. That meta event is more than 10 years old now. Happy little old meta event.
  3. VPN and GPN are two different things. Most players incl. me use WTFast or Exitlag which is a Gaming Private Network (GPN). Feel free to research the differences on your own time, but my personal advice is: Use GPN at your own risk, stay out of VPN.
  4. Yes. https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/127061-error-code-710007006464-game-client-lost-its-connection-to-the-serverplease-wait/ https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/127046-ping-issue/ https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/126834-bad-ping-fluctuations/
  5. Do you want me to Roller Bettle from blue spawn to redBL garri? I can respawn and regroup in less than a minute. Probably only 30 seconds if on EBG. Speaking of adding mounts though, I do feel a shame that Siege Turtle (having "siege" in its name and cooperative in its mechanic) isn't part of WvW. I don't care if it eats 10 supplies per slam or per cannon, sounds too much fun to never have it added.
  6. Gliding is now okay in this JP; but you do have to align the lights. If you've done correctly there will be a chest at the end, and the aurene crystal is beside it you can interact as long as you still have the buff.
  7. Aug 23 patch reduces Soul Grasp cd from 15 to 12, while increasing the ammo count to 3. But Necromancer Spite 1-x-x seems to replace Soul Grasp to the old 15s cd version with reduced 20% cd (which is now 12), while the ammo count is 2.
  8. With the amount of multiboxers in the map today, it's not worth it. I'm not gonna do more than 1111 for someone with 5+ accounts tagging the boss and die. DE is a bot farm now.
  9. Did a couple of tests and this is the best I could find. 1m23s for full stacks of both.
  10. Our market is driven by supply and demand. Viper stat is expensive because the demand for the mats is higher than the supply. You can either complain about it, or you can take advantage of it and do Flax Farming. While you're at it, you might detour slightly to harvest farm Mussels and Jungle Plants. You might need it for Minstrel or Trailblazer stat, or sell it for cash.
  11. So, yesterday I was doing mapcomp on an alt account because it has 160 clovers in it (from the daily logins). After finishing a map I got a BL key and opened the chest. Guess what I got? Jade Tech Glider and Backpack Skin. You think not getting the skin is painful? Try GETTING IT ON THE WRONG ACCOUNT! Anyway, if you've opened 150 BL chest, keep those Statuettes. They tend to add it to the purchasable list later for generally 60 statuettes. Have patience and good luck.
  12. If you do Lion's Arch Exterminator achievement to unlock Princess, three Karka Hatchlings are inside the inn which only opens at night. Other than that, if you're familiar with meta events happening every two hour, that's basically day meta/night meta. e.g. Shadow Behemoth, VB Night meta, Palawadan and Thunderhead Keep all happen at night, and there's lore reason into it. Most people just rely on /wiki et and never quite notice this.
  13. Apart from Strikes which give atrocious reward, Fractal is still much higher gph than Openworld. Raid also gives higher gph, but the problem is the downtime when you have to have 10 players start, fight and finish together. Pet and kid aggro is the gph loss. I don't even know why people take so long to ready-check. So it's really up to you how you wanna play the game. If you wanna chill easy-going farm, openworld is rewarding. If you want high-end high-speed high-dps farm, go for Fractal 42. As for raids, idk man, can't put a gold value on lege armor and trinkets. I'm grateful to have done Raids for those priceless QoL, but I have no purpose or passion for the content after getting them.
  14. You know... there are Silverwastes 24/7 farmers who are praying they can unlock every single legendary item in the game from playing Silverwastes alone...
  15. According to GW2Efficiency player database, 30.153% have unlocked Hook, Line, and Sinker achievement (owned a Fishing Rod). 26.607% have unlocked I Am The Captain achievement (owned a Skiff). Meanwhile, only 8.995% have unlocked Stomping Around achievement.
  16. Jade Mechs seem to be extremely efficient at chasing and killing mobs in range, it's like a moving turret.
  17. Allow me to introduce myself. I have been a commander in the game for 3 years now, and have commanded every single meta event in the game. I love chill content like Infusion Train, challenging content like HoT Meta Train (incl. DS & t4 VB), or marathon content like LS4 Meta Train. But I really don't like Jade Sea Meta and here's why. 1. RNG. During Tower phase in DS Meta, we split the squad into two: one to fight the boss, the other to run in circles. This only works because Preservers respawn in a fixed timer (first die first respawn). Imagine Tower phase but Preserver's spawn is RNG, and it's possible for two Preservers to spawn at once. This is the Tail and CC mechanic in Jade Sea boss. 2. Skips. In Drakkar Meta we used to split the squad into 3 subs, one for each raven gate and miniboss. When we discovered that portals work, it was a satisfying game-changing breakthrough. That's why it was disheartening when "NO GREENS" was fixed. It feels like there's nothing more to learn in the Jade Sea meta - no more new strats to figure out. 3. Mechanics. In Tequatl there are cannons, in Triple Trouble there's a harpoon. We teach everyone how to use that correctly, and the boss is suddenly a lot easier. In Jade Sea Meta I've searched high and low for anything we could use against the boss - and I can't find any. There are karmic orbs like the ones we see in DWC (not Memory), but does nothing when touched. There's a tornado on the ground that is visible from minimap but serves absolutely no purpose. The Jade pillars and the ley energy are very pretty and that's all it is. It feels like at the end of the day - it really is a player skill check. 4. Learning Curve. My last and probably most important point: At this point I'm just bored. There's really nothing to discover or learn about the meta. If you wanna have better chances at clearing this meta: Learn your classes, learn your builds, skills, rotation, CC, learn to follow tag, learn to react and move faster. When you've done all this, go and farm DF or DWC where you'll be better rewarded for your speed, or go play wvw where you can kill each other.
  18. During the phase where we're supposed to destroy three ships, the second one has turned into a ghost. We cannot board on it. Here's a video:
  19. Do you plan to keep this Meta gated to Raid communities? People who can get in Discords? People who can play metaclasses? People who can hit a certain benchmark? People who have kP? DWD and LNHB title? Is this meta where beginners can log in, hop in, have fun, and enjoy the rewards? or is this meta where beginners will get scolded because they're responsible for butchering the whole map? And if anyone cleared this meta before, would they come back to the map? Unconditionally, or only under certain conditions? Would experienced meta runners help carry the weaker players, or just not worth it?
  20. It's World vs World, not Wall vs Wall. You're right that to "defend T3 keeps" you don't necessarily have to "kill something". You actually need to KILL EVERYTHING. Anyway, you still get participation if you repair wall when the defense event is up; and I really hope Anet patches this, because I still see players who fix walls when the enemy siege is still up then run away once their participation is secured.
