This is obscene. Will there ever be a fix for this? Took 9 attempts across two days just to progress main story quest....

Still an issue. Twice in a row he gets bugged out on a rock and he won't get off it....

No mate, I don't get DC'ed from literally any other game, including CS:GO where disconnects are even more devastating to your playtime. No MMO (including New World and WoW) disconnect me like this and it always happens at the same time every time. I play with ethernet and have a static IP address. The problem is absolutely not on my end.

Since returning a few weeks ago I am getting CONSTANT story disconnects in-game. I mean I have to complete virtually every single story mission at least 2-3 times. I am now on the PoF story mission to kill the elementals and the glittering boss with the bubble, have done it 4 times in the past 1.5hrs and I literally cannot progress this kitten story. How do I stop this? I see people have been complaining about this for almost 5 years.. How is it STILL so bad? How do I progress? How do I get past this kitten? And no, in case someone responds with template probing questions, the problem is absolutely 100% not on my end. (Code=7:11:3:202:101)

Any way to fix this kittening infuriating issue?

I ended up having to buy a name change. Pretty ridiculous tbh. They just said there's nothing they can do.

It definitely wasn't an unacceptable name, my name is always some variation of my surname 'HutchTouch' 'HutchClutch' 'Hutchy' etc. My other chars also follow this naming convention. It would make sense that somebody renamed my char when they stole the account but it's a bit bizarre that I'd be the one that has to foot the bill for a name change as a direct result of NCSoft/Anet breach.

My character name is now 'Foehr Plot' which I have never chosen. My account was involved in a breach and I had to go through a rigmarole with CS to get my account back. I'm not sure if it's some form of recycling character names (taking my character name away and assigning a random one) or if it was a gold seller (no name change in transaction history). Genuinely just don't know how it happened or why my char is named this way. The other two characters are fine and have their original names but my main character now has this strange name. Has anyone encountered this before or know what it is?
