Them listening is exactly why Warrior, Elementalist, and so much more are going to be viable some time in the next century, just wait for it!

Warrior is only even really acceptable in fractals right now with its power berserker spec because it does burst and burst is good there but in raid sustain is important and they're screwed pretty hard on that right now. It will take more than tinkering with their weapon coefficients to sort that out without pulling a mechanist 2.0. Their "fix" for rifle won't make anyone want to bring it more than axe/axe and axe/mace anyways, the skills themselves lack. And if you nerf axe/axe to create viability then that's how you completely destroy Power Beserker. They were only hanging on by a banner and those got killed.

Unfortunately despite their minor efforts in most of the buffs in that patch, I still fear that mechanist will keep their 7+ slots in raids. There's absolutely no reason not to if nothing can match the combination of lacking effort required and reward. If I gotta know how to play piano on another class to get sub par numbers then why would anyone switch? A lot of those weapon buffs don't even address the real issues with why they don't get chosen. It's bad enough that my fellow raid warriors feel bad even showing up with their class because they're either holding the group back in progression content, or they're getting kicked because they're not a mechanist. It doesn't happen everywhere, but I've seen it enough times. While it remains to be seen since it isn't out and all that, I won't hold my breath.

The same reason they killed Warrior, I imagine. They just don't like to play them, so why should they fix it?

One button to still out dps my full rotation, don't even act as if these tiny changes to weapons (in most cases) are even gonna do something. When is it my turn to be the broken class? The favoritism is still very real. ❤️

So glad that Warrior got some banner fixes incoming, too bad it's not going to change the fact that rolling a mechanist is literally easier and better than even bothering to pick Warrior up, or keep it. I have loved getting kicked out of raid groups for being a Warrior. These updates to banners won't fix a thing. Thanks for really screwing a class in the backside for months on end with our long awaited fix from last balance patch being 5% crit, really upping those dps numbers when I have to use infusions or food to not have to spec in assassins gear. 10/10 would quit Warrior again lmfao.

I highly doubt that it's as high as 80% of the player base of all MMO's that don't want it. Speaking as someone who loves tanking, and in some mmos healing, you'll almost never find me queue as either with a full group of pugs. Why? Because in most other mmos the community is toxic as hell, new or not, they will spit on your face and light your house on fire. That's how WoW had been for years and years, and the last time I touched that game was Legion. I see some of that come out here from time to time, but it's almost never in instanced content. I know it does happen and experiences vary, but in my personal experience I've had maybe two occasions in the past year. Those dps who queue up for their dungeons often times do it to themselves, or a few ruin it for all. If I have to choose between waiting an extra 30 minutes or being trashed on for not knowing something in a run, or god forbid getting blamed for someone else's mistake, and potentially getting kicked? I think that is a no brainer decision. And I'm not even a bad tank, I was a mythic raider.

Agreed. I legit had zero knowledge this was happening until right before the deadline and when I was finally able to tell my friends to select the guild it was past their deadline, so they might or might not have made it, I don't know yet. But I didn't, so it doesn't matter, we're split to some extent. I only even found out because someone happened to mention it in VC.
