  1. There is also more to it, people are quick to blame support, be a tank or a healer, if anything goes wrong, it doesn't matter that the DPS ran in too far ahead, doesn't matter that they were ignoring battle mechanics, that they couldn't keep it together for 5 minutes, something goes wrong? it is the support's fault. Now, there is more to it, and a good group in any game will be able to identify when it's not the support's fault, but even in GW2 in pubs, I had a situation in KO where a person glitched out during the transitions and wasn't launched right, and landed full dead, in a run where people were ignoring a good chunk of mechanics and making it a lot harder for me, the first thing someone did was to say that the healer, in that case me, was a kitten player. And trust me, nobody likes to be on the receiving end of that chunk of vitriol, and this is coming from someone who likes playign Support normally, when things go well enough.
  2. See, as a Necro player I go out of my way to snipe non-hostile ambient creatures as they make for a very easy very quick life energy refill while in downtime...
  3. Also the work that Crecia is pushing Rytlock to do is, to put bluntly, some of the most important stuff any Charr has ever done even if it is not exactly glorious and bombastic, they are working to re-establish stability for their people following a civil war that killed a massive portion of their population, it just happens to be incredibly dull work and Rytlock hates having to do it despite being aware of the importance.
  4. As the title says, the Storms of Winter meta in Bjora Marches is ending abruptly, the first step when you chain the Legendary Icebrood Construct forces the event to end and the map to enter the Clear Skies state, the Icebrood Construct will keep moving towards the Keep, and stop right at the gate, not doing anything, only to slide and glitch through the wall a few minutes later, this has been happening since the launch of EoD. Bjora is one of my favorite maps to go and just hang out and chill, and I hate to see it neglected and bugs accumulating like this.
  5. There is an untold level of confidence here that any given person would have 20 different friends who play GW2, I personally only have one other friend who does, otherwise I play entirely solo. Honestly though the right solution would be just to make GoB and GoE tradable so you can just buy one you need off TP, you can already buy GoG and GoW off TP(well, shards, but same end result), and I have too often seen WvW players complaining in map chat that they have 50+ GoB they can't do anything with because that's the only Mastery Track worth repeating after a while, so it would at least partially solve the issue.
  6. So I been reading the thread silently as I usually do, and I feel the need to comment on this, I personally had the opposite experience with WvW, I did it for Warclaw*, it was a miserable experience, even with boosters it took far longer than I feel it should've taken, I hated every moment of being there, and I never want to do it again, so far as making me decide that I will never get Legendaries because they require Gift of Battle and I refuse to go back there, being "pushed" didn't help me, because I know myself, I have played dozens of MMOs before (and after) GW2, I know what I like and what I don't like in a game, and forcing me to do something I know I don't like isn't going to make me happy, only make me miserable, and I want the game to continue trusting that the playerbase will know themselves well enough rather than try to force people to do things they don't want to do. *: (and I understand Warclaw is useless outside of WvW, I don't care for that, I view mounts as a way to have proper pets without needing to be a Ranger so I just wanted to have a big angry cat, and this is the same for the turtle)
