Ah, of course, a player should do ArenaNet's job... That does make perfect sense, wow. I mean, obviously everyone should do a companies job for them without getting paid. It's very easy- would take them maybe an hour? Two? Hm. It's not like ArenaNet has the people and the money available to translate the game, noooo, of course not. How silly of anyone to think so!

Ah, it's one of "those" threads. Oh, did you think I meant the thread itself about Portuguese? No, I meant about people who speak English and therefore feel like elitists- despite people hardly ever saying "what a BEAUTIFUL LANGUAGE!" because... Let's be honest. It's not. Anyway! For some reason, North America is filled with people who think like this. I'd know, as I literally have lived here my whole life and see the horrible, stupid racist people (many old people- are y'all that old? Why are your ideals so stupidly outdated?) Anyway- I see families walking, talking Spanish, Chinese or Vietnamese (very much spoken in my state) and these idiots say stuff like "go back to your own country" or "learn English!" I do think if you move, you should learn the language of the place you move to, but that is not the point- the point is that... They are talking to each other. Their sister, husband, friend. I hear so much about people from the USA moving to Japan and Brazil, two countries I really love and you know what? Rarely do they speak Japanese / Portuguese well and how do Japanese and Brazilian people treat them? They're happy they're learning the language! You'll find the most racists are in the US that think that everyone should have perfect English / speak English. Second, as for the "omg but WHY SHOULD WE HAVE PORTUGUES IN THE GAME!!!!" - I have played MMORPGs since 2004. Outside of U.S. players and some UK players, I've met the most Brazilians. I don't know if I can claim that gaming is a huge part of Brazilian culture, but I know that every single Brazilian I have met in-game is passionate about the game, is eager to learn and teach, and is enjoying everything even if they're forced to play in English. It's ridiculous that that is even happening when we do have translation for other languages- considering Portuguese is so so WIDELY spoken and if you haven't met Brazilian people in every MMO you've played, including GW2, you are just looking over anyone who doesn't speak English... Which sounds like what you people would do. 🙂 (NOTE: This is NOT aimed at the original poster, obviously, this is for the racist people who think everyone should speak English or GTFO when in reality, the U.S. would be better off without said racist North Americans.)

Hi all! Yotohime Izawa (in-game, obviously) here... Since I'm stuck with this annoying username that I thought I could change. :') Anyway! I'm maining Revenant and I enjoy playing alongside my partners the most and also want to start doing even larger group content. I'd like to be a healing, not boon, support Revenant for the most part. But also do good DPS. I know there are better healing classes, but I am playing Revenant for other stuff too. Love the class, RP, already have her exactly how I want her, etc. I am already Vindicator but outside of that, I'm just not sure if my healing is "good" and it's hard to find actual healing builds. I've tried GuildJen, MetaBattle and SnowCrow and they mainly seem to be boons and not actual HP heals. Which I know the Ventari builds can do. So I'm just wondering more on gear stats, weapon, sigil and runes are best. ^_^ Any help is truly appreciated! Edit: So far on my own, I have Ventari as my main stance for healing with Shiro or Mallyx as secondary Legend. I am using two swords for DPS and a staff for the heals. I have the traits: Salvation, Devastation and Vindicator for now. I'm trying to make my own build and will probably fail HORRIBLY but... XD

I am desperately hoping that the "Shrine Guardian Outfit" will come back to the gem store along with the "Spellfire Torch Skin". We missed the Shrine Guardian by mere days and it's one that would be absolutely perfect for my husband's character!

Hi everyone! Let's brainstorm. So with Cantha coming back, I'm coming back... I've loved Cantha since Guild Wars 1. I'm also bringing my partners with me, so that's at least 3 RPers who will be around. ^_^ But I want MOAR. I want the cities active, I want guild events and storylines, I want lots of profiles posted and character screenshots! So, how can we make this happen? There is the GW2RP Enjin as well as Discord, but that's more for people who already know about the game and are interested. I like the idea of posting screenshots on social media and plan on doing that myself. It's just... Hard, when everyone is addicted to FFXIV. You hardly see screenshots from any other MMORPG. I love GW2 not just for RP, but the amazing lore and living stories, outfits, the black lion trading store, etc. I really want the 2018 level of RP back.
