Kinda bizarre, but OK. We've been playing different races up until now, so there had never been the possibility for this to come up, but lesson learned for the future. Thank you all!

It's no real issue. If anything it's kinda hilarious. But I just figured I'd post about it and see if anything like this had happened before. I do appreciate all the supportive posts though!

I have actually played through the Vigil and the Priory quest lines before on other characters, so this one was more to round out the three and play Whispers. I'm not too fussed about actually doing it, but I figured that I'd see if there was anything that could be done about it.

I chose the Order of Whispers at the end of the chapter, it ever says so in my journal. It's just once chapter 4 started I've been given the starting quest for the Vigil instead, which is the Order my friend chose.

I have been playing through the game with a friend and at the end of Chapter 3 I chose the Order of Whispers and he chose the Vigil. When we had our meetings with Destiny's Edge at Lion's Arch we did the conversation through his character and at the end of it I selected to class as having completed the quest. However, on coming out of the conversation I received the next step of the main quest telling me to go see General Soulkeeper as a member of the Vigil. So it seems that I have inherited his Order choice as well? Is there anything that can be done about this?
