Somewhat just a meme. Anet doesn't balance based on feedback. But guardian is the only class with an instant cast teleport that goes through LoS (besides thief but I think that's fine for thief). Merciful intervention is probably fine.

So does deathstrike, its insta cast, the difference is you have to be facing the cam properly to ever land it, so no one cares about that one. Maybe if the instacast teleports had an internal cooldown of a few hundred ms or every tele had an obvious tell, because yeah I feel you on teleports being touched upon in several ways. No valid path being the most annoying one.

  2. Eagle has more crit strike chance.

Ranger crits higher.. They're not identical. The 5 &6 line are typically where seemingly similar runes differ.

I typed this out backwards, but it's still the same.

  3. There's 3 points and 10 people on the map at any given time.

5 people on each team. There's audio and visual clutter that allows you to know that there is a treb strike on the way, it's telegraphed and easy to avoid.

The game is now a 4v5 where the objective is to contest nodes, if treb say gave 50 point on a kill, it could potentially be worth using, but as it stands it's one of the worst mechanics in gw2.

    • Relic of Resistance: This relic now triggers when using a healing skill instead of when using an elite skill. Reduced the resistance duration from 5 seconds to 2.5 seconds. Reduced the cooldown from 30 seconds to 10 seconds. The resistance from this relic is now only applied to the user instead of in an area around the user.

This does nothing to make the relic viable, in pve or pvp, in any aspect of gw2..

So why? I'm not even trying to be a bad guy, just genuinely curious. Like there was no trade off, in fact I'd argue it's in a worse place now.. and it wasn't used before? Just make it make sense.

  4. I personally would keep sa for that sweet superspeed. DP is in a pretty solid spot rn, i'd just practice rotating(keeping your team in even fights, plussing a stray fight on roads), figuring out where to place yourself on the map and you'll win most of your games. Now mechanically to get better at thief just 1v1 a mirror or fast paced builds.

Put all 100 pvp players in one match.

    Free for all style.

Last man standing won pvp and we can delete the mode.

There'd be a thief running shadow arts and thieves guild that wins because gw2

Pretty much every problematic mechanic in pvp could be cut in half and it would still be insanely good; it's pretty absurd how overtuned everything is. Like yall know it's possible to have burst damage that isn't 100-0 in under a second, stealth that doesn't last 20 seconds, less than 50% uptime on iframes, and mobility that doesn't cover the length of a football field right?

Don't tempt anet to cut everything in half. We'll be playing bunker wars 2 next season. Now if the only gamemode wasn't conquest ppl might diverge a bit lol.

i said it a million times, ill say it again: ELITE QUEUES.

Once you reached the top 10% of players, your queue gets separated.  You can only match with other people that are also in "ELITE".

SSBU is already doing it and it works great.    Yes the Queue times are ALOT higher...    but you actually have fun and engaging battles, and you dont ruin the fun for the other 90%.

Yeah, you're not wrong. The emotes are from people that can't compete there I'm sure.

This is what, the 3rd Beta weekend Anet has released and they still haven't fixed the "exploit"?

It's not even an exploit. They left the door wide open and told everyone to, "Enter with your non-beta characters but you can change into your beta characters once your inside... much as how you can change classes during AT."

I don't recall Anet telling players to not do it. It's a feature, not a bug.

I guarantee you they saw the bug and was like "not our problem, filthy toxic pvpers"
