  1. Overall I think these are great changes and I am genuinely excited to see what future patches bring if this is anet's new direction. The one thing I think is missing from this patch is adjusting tempest's alacrity production. Having to finish a 4 second channel to provide any alacrity seems counter to other recent design changes(example: scrapper providing superspeed and thus quickness at the start of gyros instead of at the end of their well effect). This is compounded with tempest having few ways of providing aegis or stability. Consider other alacrity providers and how they pulse it or don't otherwise have to make themselves so vulnerable to do it. In situations with less stability, solo, or highly mobile situations the channel can be challenging to pull off to make sure it is applied. Since a completed overload is the only way to make alacrity, this can mean enormous holes in uptime if a channel is interrupted.
  2. I voted fun but I don't like this question. You can have balance AND uniqueness, you just have to balance considering more factors and be vigilant with how and how much classes are being used. Not every class needs to do everything, but if one class doesn't bring as much X, it should bring more Y and if it has low X and Y it should have a ton of Z. Look at how hard warrior has to work to provide quickness while having subpar dps and no utility, compared to power quick scrapper with ok quickness and ok dps and some utility, compared to firebrand with easy quickness AND good dps AND strong utility. In this case, if condi firebrand is the baseline, scrapper should be buffed somewhat and warrior should have huge outrageous dps. They all get to be unique while still viable compared to each other.
  3. #14 in echovald wilds is still bugged. haven't tried any more cuz i dont want to waste my time. i was able to finish all of them in seitung yesterday at least.
  4. They really need to get rid of the extreme randomness. It can be way more scripted and remain challenging enough. But having stuff like cc and tail dps at the same time is impossible to coordinate for pug maps. The switching sides is out of control.
  5. Greetings from 2022. This is still a thing and extremely frustrating. Anet needs to fix this sort of bookah nonsense before steam release or people are going to laugh and demand a refund.
