  1. I think they should add an asura gate somewhere and let players que for rifts, maybe call them rift reponse missions or something while they're at it?
  2. Yeah I've been lurking around ever since they announced this expansion and even watched plenty of streams after it came out to see if it was worth getting. Honestly not seen anything to spark my interest in it. Will probably get it if it goes on sale or something.
  3. Yeah steam version isn't looking too hot right now. But who knows, FF14 took a few years before it started gaining traction on steam, so we shouldn't write GW2 on steam off too prematurely. https://steamdb.info/app/1284210/graphs/
  4. Honestly I'm almost a boomer so I'm always on the prowl to find the easiest stuff to play and luckily this video showed me a ton of easy stuff to play around with. And I mean there are more builds like this, from past expansions. Just gotta look em up.
  5. Putting together a decent looking cosmetic set for a charr should come with an achievement and a place in the hall of fame.
  6. I have no doubt that it would be hard for them to implement if they said so nevertheless the insane amount of money left lying on the floor here is pretty amazing. In both WoW and FF14 people spend absurd amounts of money to race change their characters, constantly. I mean some people in FF14 race change their characters almost daily. That is some nice cash padding that they've left our of their equation. Edit: Yes I know that they've said that it could break everything and all that but both WoW and FF14 are also coded in spaghetti and that has never stopped them from adding more features or revenue streams to their games.
  7. Pretty sure FF14 also has a similar problem. In both GW2 and FF14 the game generally gets strong praise from its audience and has overall positive reviews. Yet the player base is generally constantly shrinking because the core game in both examples is just culling a large amount of possible new players. FF14 now managed to increase its player base thanks to WoW refugees fleeing to it thanks to it being so similar to WoW yet even with that the realm reborn MSQ remains as a constant issue that burns out new players. It's basically a survivorship bias, both games get glowing reviews from the players that have managed to beat the dreadful early game thanks to the merits of the games actually being good later, yet the player bases keep shrinking because the new player experience keeps turning a lot of new players away. And we generally don't hear too much about these issues because those new players rarely leave any feedback on the issues they encountered.
  8. I didn't mind most of the IBS except for some characters being written to be complete morons. The last part, the champions part however was cursed back when it was released and nowadays is even more cursed because for most of the time you'll be soloing those damned response missions. Unless you have a team of people to help you which many do not.
  9. Considering that steam version has lost over 2000 players in a month then plenty of people seem to be taking that advice. Now I know that steam does not show the whole player base needless to say I would not be surprised if the game as a whole was losing players right now. I mean the roadmap was pretty lackluster with the biggest thing coming being a strike (you know, the type of content that a good chunk of players don't involve themselves with anyways).
  10. Engineers have the shotgun, thieves have the sniper rifle. Time to update warrior rifle into an assault rifle so I can finally roleplay as rambo.
  11. Honestly out of all the greatsword professions the warrior one feels the worst to use against anything that is not a target dummy. Even the elementalist conjured greatsword feels better to use. Honestly why does everything have to lock you into animations so much on warrior.
  12. The nominations are given by games journalists but then again End of Dragons and games journalists are probably a match made in heaven. So disregard my previous input, it probably would have been strange not to see it on this list.
  13. Even if it wasn't going against Endwalker I wouldn't be so sure about it. While there are plenty of people who liked EoD there are also plenty of people who absolutely didn't like it. A polarizing expansion to say the least.
  14. Now I don't have enough experience in the game nor on my warrior to make such bold statements, nevertheless I did feel extremely out of place when I was trying to play him in WvW. In a world of boon and aoe spam warrior does feel like kind of a fifth wheel tbh.
  15. I'm pretty new to warriors and have been playing my warrior for a few weeks now. Some days ago I got a brilliant idea to go to WvW with mace and shield equipped because it looked like it might be fun. Little did I know that when I actually got into a fight I was doing literally negative damage. So I actually went to look at my abilities and was rather amused that majority of my skills did like 3-5 damage. Needless to say I learnt my lessons.
