The laptop battery goes down from 100% to 6% in like 2h of game play.

I have a $400 gateway slim laptop. 8ram an 250gb space. It has ran the game well so far. Little bit of lag lately to be expected. My laptop dies hella fast though. An gets up to 60° (which isn't bad) while playing. It dies in like 2h or so while playing. I tried changing brightness on laptop. An I put all my settings in game to auto adjust low. What game settings will result in better fps. Be decent to look at graphically and easier on my laptop. Suggestions? Please no trolling, I can't afford a expensive setup lol. Single mom here.

Hey guys. New player. I made a few noob mistakes. Boosted my 21 necro to 80. An made a 80 ele. So I been playing my ele thinking I'm gonna be a healer and this is gonna be like wow. Nope. Nothing like it. So screw that plan. I also was told and I'm finding out ele is HARD ASF to play. Like. I die real fast. I tried cantra just to have fun. I hate it. I have no mount upgrades. An I die easy. So I'm considering playing my necro. She's scourge I believe. Would it be easier? I try to do a little of it all so i can experience everything the game has to offer. But clearly I need to complete the game zones an events etc. What build would you suggest that is solo worthy an does good dps? Something easy maybe for my noob self. Also, any tips and tricks? I've learned my lesson on boosting I know it was a mistake. But I plan to back track and do everything. Lvl my mounts etc. I am in need of hp though, an find it hard to find groups. If anyone is on avil and could help me that'd be great?

Thank you to all the replies. I leveled a necro to 20 and then I boosted her and created the ele an boosted her. I did so because I was told necro is good heals. I've since learned all classes heal to a point. But ele tempest have good heals. So ele will be my main. I come from 8 years of wow healing using a resto shaman. I appreciate the help and support. So far the game has been very confusing but I'm slowly figuring it out. Trying one thing at a time. I'm willing to have any new friends:) Also, I have a good idea at this point how to play my class. So I have been doing exploration an my personal storyline. Starting from top to bottom. It gets kinda boring though. I'm also in guilds.

I am new to GW. I lvled to 20 and then bought xpac an boosted to 80. There is an overwhelming amount to know about this game. I'm completely overwhelmed and getting kinda frustrated and bored. Does anyone know of any guides for this game. Overall? I'm running around with my head cut off. I been doing stories, but that gets old. I wanted to do dailies but they all are confusing and I can't find where to go for any of it. I saw dungeon and raids but don't know what I'm doing, probably suck too bad to do it. An pvp makes no sense to me, went to a battleground and was confused. Is there an overall game guide to help me through all this? Like where to start, what to work on?
