Vindicator is just trash. The new legend is trash to. Look at Kala, Herald, Shiro and all the old legends... and then look at the new legend. Its a joke... Vindicator is not a finished spec and looks rushed. I played him since release in all end game content but droped him after the last patch.

I tryed the staff dps weaver in CM fractals. Sadly it was not so good :(. The main problem for me was the slow burst damage.

I dont care how other games work. I play since 2012 and buy sometime stuff with real money to support the game. So back to topic now. Will there be any sale this year? Somehow there is no Info about it. I still need 3 Items from the gem store.

Worst anniversary sale that I experienced. I hoped for a sale for more items at once but this is embarrassing. I wanted to spend 50 to 100 euro in the ingame shop, but the discounts are so bad. The Steam bundle is good, sadly I already have the Items in it. Hoped for something like 25% on all items or so.

I disagree about the good dps that some ppl. talk about. 33k dps on a character with no group support is just bad. With the current state of GW2, 35k is the minimum damage a full dps with no support have to do. So if somone finds a way to make 35k dps on a small hitbox with the vinidcator, then he will be ok. Burst damage is irelevant because its just for 2 seconds and then he falls behind. Let's see if the October patch will bring the buffs he needs and the rework for the legends to.

Tbh they just need to change his GS 5 skill now. Than he can hit 35k on all hitboxes and will be playable. But right now I cant get more then 33k on small hitboxes and thats just bad. The huge hitbox is ok because GS5 hits better. And wtf is the alliance elite skill. Such a bad elite skill.

Vindicator is still to weak. He would be ok if they change his greatsword 5 skill from random hits to guranteed hits. On the Golem I did with GS only: Small hitbox 33k Big hitbox 34.5k Huge hitbox 35.5k I would be happy if he would do 35k on all hitboxes. Maybe the pros can find something, but right now hes still trash as a dps unit. I used the ingame dps meter, because arc dps needs an update. I wait some days and see but I think its time to change to soulbeast.

Maybe I am getting on some players nerves but please Arenanet make Vindicator playable! I really want to play the Vindicator in end game content but no one wants him in his group, because his damage is so bad. It is so frustrating.... He almoast has no cc to, because if he changes to staff, he loses so much dps. I don't need the super strong damage but i want a fair dps for a glas canon. He just needs to feel ok and not super strong. Right now hes so weak.

I hope Vindicator can now compete with the other dps clases in pve. But man I still think he will be the weakest dps class ;(. Think he wont be as good as power Mechanist or Soulbeast with the damage.

Is it normal that the energy is only on 49% (ooc) and max 99%? I swear it was always 50% (ooc) and 100%.

Power Vindicator will be still dead. I was optimistic about this patch but there will be almost no difference in his dps. Time to play a real powerdps class and not a meme version of it.

Sadly he is trash yeah. But becareful someone will come and say he ist not weak, with no real arguments :). If you are a Vindi main like me and want to raid with him, than good look finding a group. Vindi support is trash, vindi power dps is trash and condi vindi is trash to. Btw. I play him at his max damage whise. No random group wants him in a group and friends dont want him to. I can't belive it but i could not play cms with him today because my casual guild sayed only if u don't play vinidi. So I played my specter. So Arenanet please buff his pds. Just buff his Greatsword moves a lot. I don't know how his support build can be fixed now. The support Version needs a rework.

I know Arenanet sayed what they will change in august, but I am still disappointed that there are no Vindicator changes. So vindi is dead till october and who knows, maybe even after the october patch. The Warrior changes are not so great on paper, lets see how they will performe. Okay maybe we have some luck on 23.08.22.

Your opinion is he is not a dps class. My opion is hes one and needs a major buff. So I still say it, power Vindicator is a pure selfish dps class as one of his main rolles and need a major dps buff. I played him since release in any content and I know enough to say that he is a pure selfish dps but is useles now and a wasted class. He still is my favorite spec in gw2. When I join fracs I still do the max damage he can do and overdps a lot of player who cant play their characters optimal, damage whise. With randoms its ok and I still play my vindicato (only fracs). When I play with my friends than I want to play him to but he is a burden because we are more competetive and this is what makes fun in gw2 for me. Its cool that u dont need stuff like that. I repeat again what I sayed some days ago. Arenanet sayed they want to make any class playable as any rolle in any content. Rev does not have a real pdps class now ( before the patch he was totaly ok with 37k). You say we dont need so much dps and its true but there is always a comparison with other specs. Because if there where no one, than the next one comes and says that supports only can clear fracs and raids to so they are dps classes to. Tbh its true you can clear with supports only to. The problem is it takes time. And again vindi is ment to be a powerdps. We have players in our group who cant play their classes super optimal to. That means they cant bring out the max damage possible on the boss. But its ok because the damae is already high and the damage los is not a major problem. But when a player comes with his vindicator, than he have to play him totaly optimal otherwhise his damaghe goes down and a support will overdps him. So when a new player wants to play Vindicator he has to make hix max dps possible in a mixed group, otherwhise he will be a burden. Just buff his damage a bit so errors are not such a big problem . Players like me who always learn his characters opitmal and see the damage difference in this major rolle, can only say hes not good enough now and a wasted class. I have much more in my mind but i dont want to write or explain it more, because my english is not so good and I already know that I talk to a wall here.

I made a specter yesterday and make almoast 40k damage now. The roatation is super easy (ok he does not have a real rotation). My rev boys who want to play with a real dps, just change the character. We can only wait for a power damage buff and play another spec till then. Vindicatort is not allowed as a dps in my group. Hes to weak. And before some white knights come and say that I should play with another group. Nope I keep playing with my friends that I know for almoast 10 years, but my friends dont want a meme pdps. Better to get a support and a real dps. Everything under 35k on golem is to weak. I will make a power soulbeast now to. My Characters where Bannerslave, alac ren and Vindicator. They all are trash now. Ok alacren is somehow playable.
