The issue went away on its own the next day. I think it was related to the Super Adventure Box. Something I did in there just somehow lingered outside of it and caused problems. Still, thanks for the help.

This is all one related issue. Something is wrong in the bottom right corner of my UI. I cannot open daily reward chests or event chests that appear above the mini-map. When I click on them, my character freezes and the sound cuts out for several seconds. If I click near the center of the screen, this freeze ends. The same thing happens if I click on the mini-map itself. If I open the world map, interacting with the same area causes the same issue. It makes using the compass rose impossible except for the Cantha region. Finally, if I go into the Super Adventure Box, the issue persists there; however, since daily/event chests appear at the very bottom of the screen in SAB (no mini-map) and I am able to open them there. I hope that when the festival ends, things will go back to normal but I also worry that instead, I will just be unable to open these chests at all. I've run both repair and cleared my gw2 cache and the problem persists.

Yes. This event is basically un-doable in normal circumstances. I was trying the Echovald event daily. I turned in 9 relics myself, but we only got to about 75% before it failed. Between needing to find the keys, take the keys to the wards, play the mini-game, pick up the relic, run it back and turn it in, all the while dealing with super-tanky mobs attacking you as well as thieves that show up half the time and "steal" the relic you just unlocked so you have to kill them first to even get the relic... this is just broken. Add what was noted above about the waypoint causing there to be several people in the area that aren't participating and it just can't be done most of the time, no matter how hard those actually participating try.

Is there a rental springer? The OP said he doesn't have PoF. Can you get a springer w/o PoF? I do have PoF, but I haven't played through it yet, just enough to unlock the raptor. I spent about half an hour playing around the Cat Island POI in Seitung, trying to see if I could figure out how to get up to the mastery point and, for the life of me, it doesn't seem possible without a springer or flying mount.
