Try repairing the game files, I dont think thats what fixed my issues but it can't hurt

After a few days of logging in and tentatively doing some content, I think I can safely say the issue is gone for me. It's been 2 days I don't even get stuck in a loading screen any more. If anyone is reading this wanting to find a sign to try logging on again, this is it.

After the latest game update, has anyone experienced any improvement? What I've been doing just before the update was to close and open the game until the instance is playable. It works most of the time, but every so often when I load into a populated map like LA or the aerodrome, I get stuck in the loading screen and no amount of relogging will fix it. Sometimes if I really need to login like if a raid was waiting for me, I reset my router, sometimes it works. I hope this helps someone!

Forget everything I said. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to this lag issue.

I'm still getting lag. Open world seems fine, but when I join an instance it gets laggy. Me and my guildies found that if I open the instance, though, it isn't laggy for me anymore. I think it has something to do with the server? I'm on Gates of Madness (NA). So when I joined a junkyard strike, the instance was Darkhaven. It lagged for me. Everyone went out and I went in first to make a Gates of Madness instance, it was all normal!

After the NA server maintenance, are things better now? I am 8 days sober of guild wars 2 and can now see sounds. My third eyes has opened and have ran for local mayor against a corrupt local favorite.

I am also from SEA (PH) and for what it's worth, you're not the only one getting unplayable ping recently. I have observed something odd though, the lag seems to be just for instanced content. I tried boneskinner today and got 1.6k ping, but when I jumped out and tried LLA in timberline falls, it seemed normal. I also ran around to do the open world dailies with no issue. Another weird thing is, some of my friends (also from PH) have had this issue since last year, and have quit the game because of it. It'd be nice to have the stability back.

That's a point, I haven't thought of the time differences. I play in SEA (UTC+8) times and play in an NA server. I guess I should get up early and try to find a group

Nah, it's been this way a long time now, way before EoD launched. I use both those tools and have only done the meta once, and that was like 8 months ago. With the low interest in this meta, noxious pods should just spawn like crystallized supply caches. At least with gerent/ tangled depths, you dont have to do the meta to collect the map currency

I checked the GH at the moment, she isn't selling it. I assume it's a random sale, like pact supply? But then I can only buy 3 per day. I need 250 of these things lol

I might be missing something, but boy is this resource so hard to get! Whenever I'm on, Dragon's Stand has zero players and Noxious Pods outside of the meta event are so rare and far apart, there's prolly only six of them in the map. Is there really no other way to get Crystalline Ingots?? How am I supposed to get stuff for a legendary?
