  1. Content: Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons Summary: Underwater treasure chests with the simple object name of "chest" in End of Dragon zones require two full "cast bar" animations to complete before they are opened. In other words, swim to a chest, press F to interact, and the typical UI cast bar element appears and fills. In most content, when the bar fills, the chest opens and rewards are received. On EoD maps, the cast bar resets to empty and fills a second time before rewards are received.
  2. Content: Guild Wars 2 - End of Dragons Summary: Using a zipline dismisses Necromancer minions, requiring them to be re-summoned Typically, minions are preserved when a player state changes (e.g. mounting, transforming, assuming a disguise, controlling a ballista, etc.), unless and until the player changes maps. Ziplines break this consistency, with Necromancer minions becoming de-summoned. This is particularly nettlesome in maps like Echovald Wilds, where frequent zipline travel is a key characteristic of the map's vertical design. Please persist and restore the state of Necromancer summons through zipline traversal.
  3. Heads up, you don't have to click the tiny arrow. You can right-click anywhere on that button to open the same fly-out menu. This is true for all buttons with arrows: right-click anywhere on the weapon-swap button for the build/equipment fly-out, or on utility skills, the mount button, or the toy button to show their respective menus.
  4. In Hero pane/H key > Achievements > Filters (Gear Icon) > Add Mastery Point Filter, there is no option to Add End of Dragons Mastery Point Filter.
  5. Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons Bug: Salvaging crafted consumable food items created with the Chef crafting discipline and salvaged using Research Kit consumes the crafted consumable item but does not produce Research Notes I've been filling in my Chef discovered recipes today, and though the food consumables are eligible to salvage using the EoD Research Kit (e.g. not red in colour), and they are consumed when salvaged, Research Notes are not produced as a result of salvaging. Nothing at all is produced, but the food item is removed from my inventory. Example items: ▪ Slice of Buttered Toast ▪ Lemon Tart ▪ Onion Ring ▪ Hamburger ▪ Grilled Steak ▪ Grilled Poultry ▪ Grilled Mushroom ▪ Cinnamon Pinwheel ▪ Cinnamon Apple
  6. Clearly what you're saying is that Anet should've learned a basic game design lesson from Tequatl (and Serpents' Ire and Chak Gerent), but they didn't. That's incredibly obvious, but it's good that you pointed it out anyway.
  7. After hours of failing the DE meta, he switched to Elden Ring. He's now fighting a huge dragon *cough* and dying as he learns the encounter, but he's laughing and meming and having fun, and each attempt is quick to jump back into. At one point he said, "This is exciting!" The contrast between this and the DE meta stream is just insane. I think what we're seeing, is we're all emotionally invested in the game's ending so we want this to work, but Anet doesn't have the staff or the design chops to make good content any more, and they absolutely cannot read a room or admit the encounter they made doesn't fit open world constraints at all. There are too many other great games out right now and not enough patience to go around for this ridiculous nonsense.
  8. I challenge ArenaNet's HR department to lock their GW2 developers and designers' paychecks behind successful completion of this meta on the public servers. If it's really working as intended, put your money where your mouth is. Prove it.
