The complete lack of mechanics during the meta event makes me think the design budget was cut and hard, actually same with the 15 minute long story with minimalist cast but in GW 2's case that's a good thing because the cast is mostly obnoxious. Nice visuals though.

I'm a relatively new player, started last year, and the story gap between core story and s2/hot was extremely jarring with you being thrown in with literal who's like Taimi, Rox etc. Season 1 just had to be re-added in order for the story to feel complete and should have been done years ago.

Firebrand feels like paladin cleric hybrid and fits the class perfectly.
