  1. I've made the list in my mind , but i think it's way too long , and people will not read it. basically make ele good in pve, not just average/bad.

Ah yes the T3 being also harder than T4 runs cause you are with a bunch of beginners , a healer who don't know how to heal , a support who is clueless on how to give boons and a celestial stats dude who thinks his dps is great. Kind of understand the point if you mean T3 and lower , you are basically sometimes with "curious puppys" who see the shiny console and think a treat will come out... But there is no solution to your problem sadly , i would say just run t4 + recs and you done .. but this is a half a** solution. Under T4 people are still learning fractals , cm and t4 runs are basically the rush group who wants easy quick money money.

The sharing of the conjure is not even a cool thing most ele who have trained on their rotation drop the weapon on the boss to get it while in the rotation so if you happen to have a "kitten off dude" like me who instinctively grab the weapon just for the sake to be silly the whole mechanic is just blatant badly designed , but as i said the spaghetti code of a conjure weapon must be a wired cable nightmare for an anet staff member to touch , so better get it over with , i really doubt anet is gonna change drastically the way the conjure weapons work , and it's not something like augmenting the ratio of AA ice bow healing from 0.5 to 0.6 who's gonna change anything. But i hope i am wrong sincerly and that anet will find a way and the courage to completely rework those "gimmick" (to stay polite) skills. Ele isn't a strong pick in pve anyway so will the work done on it bring back players like me who enjoyed ele 6years ago and now despite it , i doubt for myself personnaly. But again this is a post where i hope i can say "i was wrong".

It has more become of a ritual than anything , remind me of Arkk encounter we where all full buffed near the singularity and we started the fight right away somebody gg'ed for no reason and he just said "sorry ... the habit ...". but i agree on Amam it's more of a waste of time than anything yoru firebrand while amam is doing his contruction animation would have an aegis and stab already ready for the first flamethrower , while i do understand the bladesworn matters. People just like to see big numbers on arcpds , especially with their name just near the biggest number.

Problem with dungeons is that it is old stuff not a lot of vets wanna do , most of them are too long for what they give , and as it is an early introduction to a somewhat "endgame" during leveling to players i really doubt anet is gonna change the difficulty , cause you have new players who are usually terrified by the damage the mobs inside do , and the vets who just run trough some dungeons solo like a hot knife trough butter so it is really hard to balance those as it needs to be challenging enough for vets but keeped relatively easy for newcomers as they are introduced trough leveling , the balance here is completely broken and when there is content like fractals who are really well balanced , t1 being made for fresh lvl 80 players (-fractale 25 cause boss is a beginner killer) , only dark side is the infusion mechanic who can get rid of any patience. And even if you add new rewards as skins , money etc , vets would rush them , get the skin and don't care about the money cause fractals will certainly give more , Arah is a true example of the miserable design of dungeons , really hard to find your way in , mobs do a lot of damage , no clear mechanics way too long, and if you happen to have a thief who knows you can bypass 90% of the dungeon stealthed, not fun in both case. sad but dungeons are dead and as they were part of the game at launch the actual team must be afraid to touch them cause it has been made with the old spaghetii code who nobody seems to know how it works , so updating dungeons = plethora of bugs incoming, and game has way enough bugs after any content release. So only thing anet can do is update the rewards , but that would only work for a couple of time as players will rush the rewards and get it over with , maybe adding some ascended stuff in the pool of the money trader for dungeons , could help a bit , but trust me most people don't run dungeons because it's old stuff with no interesting mechanic and rewards not worth the time. fractals on the other hand are likable because the rewards are pretty good , they are fast , have some cool mechanics , you can either rush them or not , and can even do them with trainees with t1 fractals, downside is the infusion mechanic who is a time and a money sink.

Simple solution : launch the fractal before asking the lfg , your group will be pleased cause they wil have only one loading screen(- the hub to load) and as others said i had literally no issue with pug group , usually it's the first who has finish loading the screen who choose the next fractal and it's always the cm or the dayli below the one we just did. In your case you should just ask why this person changed the frac ... it's really suspicious and i know the issue of loosing someone when you are in the middle of a t4 run , i am honest and i put into the lfg the usuall t4 (minus x because done) but not a lot of ppl want to run 66% of a t4 run , you encountered a selfish duch*** who don't care about the others , personnaly those ppl end up in my BL i don't need any egoistic player in my runs , and when i need to do a specific frac i just tell the group if it is ok if i leave after x fractal , to them to keep or toss me i completely understand.

As said above the emboldened is for players to train more easily on encounters they have hard times on , not to provide players an easy quick source of LI/Kp , and anet disabled all achievements linked to the encounter when emboldened so that's another prove of the goal of this design , you just had to look the lfg the first time w5 was emboldened , it was full of training session. Emboldened = train on a boss so you can do it regularly every week without emboldened. Cm = as Cyninja stated above. For fractals i suppose ? cause raids Cm works only once a week as normal or emboldened or you think the 3 green and 6 blue non id gear is a good reward for making dhuum cm a second time a week πŸ˜†? Because you can do as many cms as you want and to the wing who is emboldened as much as you want , it's only the reward who is really not worth the time.

  10. Ha , another reason to play my herald with his permanent 25 might , fury and quickness 100% of the time... Was there ever a cooldown ? i remind using the choya transformation and dance to proc combat mode every sec , so i could have 30 secs off all those buffs in just 5 secs Well if it is every 90 secs icd i won't even bother collecting them , cya Eod. That's killing the fun for open world enjoyers , the only place were you can play however you want and with those boons feels somewhat effective with a weird not synergize build or weapons , literally bringing a spoon of mΓ©ta in open world... now ppl are gonna play more and more quickness dps provider , killing all the other spec ... You don't give an amazing toy to a child to just steal it after a year and watch the child cry... And how the hell is that QOL , it's literally turning your mansion into a hobbo place .... i don't see any quality of life improvement here.

And in order to do that they need a freaking short cooldown , becasue else you will competely negate the fundamental of ele : squeeze as many weapon skills as you could between two attunement swap .... that works for all dps ele , now htemp is another thing Anyway this thread is throwing rocks at fish , anet is never gonna change the conjure weapons they definitly let the ele rot like a rat in pve , and i don't see it change in any ways , the rework to make the whole spec equal in efficiency and complexity to all others classes is way to far tunneling.

Hello, Even if the title looks like a scarcastic rant i am here to ask fellow untamed or any ppl who know which options to turn off in graphics to actually not have to deal with untamed pet skill 3 and staff unleashed skill visual πŸ’©. I have a guildmate who enjoy the untamed but we are some in the discord channel ranting when he use the very "greeny" skill effect to a point we cannot see any aoe near us and thus failing mechanics. Till anet acknowledge to remove a lot of particules effects from those skills (if they someday do...) , who certainly hinder the popularity of untamed , i wish to provide myself, others guildmembers and other ppl who suffer from the "friendly" fire with a temporary (maybe definitly) solution to avoid turning gw 2 in a visual exam test.   13. And i do agree with that , so does the conjured weapon atm bring up some utility actually to the already lackluster design of the "versatility" of ele ? answer is no ! I've stood it up in every ele forum , stop making versatile weapon for ele , give a weapon who is good at a specific role in e-v-e-r-y attunement , ele has always been balanced around having 2x the skills the other have and your take is absolutely correct that we use maybe half of the skills with a specific role , but that's not the point in the thread here , ele doens't need another set of 5 weapons skills cause he has 20 others to already use , never said those 20 were actually good , in fact half of them are bad becasue we don't use it, but having atop of them 25-30 skills because we add some conjures in the utility is not gonna solve anything , Conjures weapons have a long cooldown and have literally no impact , that's why i thought the idea of not missmatching them with cd of already weapons skills (who are rather lwo cd) but instead making them more impactfull in utility skills (who have a rather longer cd) If you want to replace the bad weapon skills and fill it up with conjure weapons , then they must work like engi kits without a cooldown , cause you might need them anytime , and i don't see anet making it an engikit ripoff , even i don't see anet taking acre of ele in pve , they cannot think of a way to balance the class properly anyway such proof the super low playrate , ppl don't like the ele that's all and anet seems to not care even nerfing it after pistol release cause good old excuse "ele is gonna be meta again" yeah if 0.5% is a meta number ...

I saw someone writing old arcane wasn't used in pve , it was ! you had a really good combination making a single skill with the old arcane dumping out 12 stacks of burn , old arcane power give a stacking buff of 4 to you and 2 to 4 other allies , making your next attack have more crit. damage and with old arcane trait gave your arcane skills condition on hit , so if you stood in fire while using the skill it resulted in a big damage chunk and to 12 stacks of fire who could be done aoe. So it was a thing and the only usable way to play deeps with arcane traitline ... now we got some utility skill who cc ... and how is a 200 breakbar supposed to compete against the already godlike cc master we have like renegade , thief , mesmer ... a change amde for pvp/wvw and that should have remain untouched on pve I wouldn't argue about pvp/wvw a teleport/cc skill seems godlike like i said in another post , in pve it's beyond garbage rework, ty cmc , can you just do wvw/pvp balance and leave pve to somebody who actually play pve ? cause kitten ele has been as rare as a precursor drop.
  15. chrono wells are pure asmr to my ears ❀️, but the rifle has kind of weird sound effects , i don't know where it comes from but there is always sometimes a huge "BONK" like a kicthen tools banging to each others (don't know how to describe it ...) , coming from skill 2 or 3 i think but the sound effect doesn't always play , any idea ? maybe when u combo it ?
  16. first thing to do is completely get rid off the cast time , second is this design is overshadowing the ele main mechanic who is "i have 20 weapon skills" "now i have 25 with a conjure" , while with engi it make a lot of sense cause it's basically 5 weapons skills with 5 toolbelt (3mech skills) making it very understandable , but with ele it's overlapping the most with your already 20 weapons skills. (and more if weaver ...) We don't need another set of 5 weapon skills we already have 20 of them ! that's enough ! that's the problem with conjure and why ppl mostly don't like it , then you have the problem of the actual skills ... what is this clusterf*** ? ice bow is meh heal/aoe damage /cc , axe is garbage tier , hammer is i don't know a cc weapon ? shield is a poor wish made in china version of firebrand tome 3 and Gs when u see it's used for skill 5 then drop down ... for me it should change your utility skills kind of like revenant has , with impactfull skills , maybe not an elite and a healing skills (that would be too much) but i can see the 3 utilitys being replaced by a conjured skill , and make the weapon have a clear design and purpose , axe could be a condi weapon , hammer a full cc oriented weapon , bow a healing weapon , shield a defensive support , and Gs a strike damage kind of what it is now. But we had arcane skills changed that literally nobody asked for , cmc like the ele in pvp/wvw , so pve -> bullsh** design ! Kind of got tired of the balance team with their narrow vision of pve , pve is not a golem benchmark worldboss ! stop balancing around this freaking stupid pinata... What i think is conjure weapon where there at the start of the game and the spaghetti code for their design must be weird to the actual balance team , so completely changing 1 weapon = changing 5 skills who will result in big bugs in returns, while engi weapon kit must work like a weapon swap , conjure with the stupid 2nd weapon drop must be kind of weird. That's the problem when the devs team change and the old go away without doing a proper recovery delivery and your are left with a game where you don't understand the code of 33% of the skills ... and for those who say "not true" , see how many bugs we have to face every patch !
  17. Yes this ! making the whole pve balance about a bench done on a non moving and non active pinata is absolutely hilarous. I would more look into playrate than benches , after all if a class is not played at all , it means the class is just bad , not fun and not efficient enough. but now that every class can do all sort of jobs (alacrity , quickness , healer etc ) , ppl will mostly stick with what is the more efficient. the current best benchers is condi deadeye ... have you seen any deadeye condi in your squad ? Maybe , but you always have that % of skilled players who outshine the others and do pratically carry them out , as dps or healer , in pugs who accept low kp it's a chance ratio. i am mainly pissed because i really liked the 2x staff mirage gameplay being outstandingly good against certain bosses and just horrible against other ones, now it's just not effective against any bosses , but that's mainly because we have now way better alacrity dpses than him like renegade and specter and becasue confusion has been completely demoslished thus eeing some skills giving torment instead of confusion being a miarge thing , like staff 3 used to do vulnerability and now it's torment , anet knows confusion is a bad condition hard to balance , cause it can either be useless or completely wreck a boss , but now it's mostly useless.

That's good if you are on a realtively ez content , if people act like that and everyone bring what he feels like well with recent encounters you gonna fall short and it will again resort on your healers to downtime the pressure for a longer period. I take my own example , i tend to take what the squad needs (because i know the basics of any spec and don't have my fun rooted to just one playstyle) , but on the other hand i largely feel like sometimes compensating for my squad weaknesses , i don't mind doing it , but when you are just a few to be able to adapt and perform well it kind of feel nauseathing, like switching to hscg for Matthias cause downtime is crazy. Ofc it happens when you have trainees and not at all when i am in a confirmed squad , but they are obvious e-specs who are weaker than the others and mirage is one of them , currently proudly played between 0.1 and 0.5% in endgame content If a class is so less played by ppl who download their clears that simply means the class is either weak , not fun , badly designed , too complicated , for mirage i would say it's a fun spec but is complicated , weak and badly designed atm. A good confusion rework could save the day , 2x staff mirage is still there and functional , but it is far beyond any other alacrity dps support.

I'd rather have elites spec , but new weapons add new things , and a whole 9 new e-specs would be rather hard to balance , but without that i am clearly not hyped a lot by new expansions, as the story seems to be blunt and the renewal of gameplay and new features goes thiner and thiner , but that's normal for a mmo who has more than 10 years after all.

They need to rework confusion in order to have mirage back on wheels , it's the only class (with mace on engi) who rely on confusion that much and as the condi is now the worst condi damage in the game the class has been forgotten , for me it doesn't matter mirage was strong on peculiar bosses , as long as they not fit everywhere. For now the confusion condi deals without the bonus damage less damage than bleeding ... and that is a huge problem bleeding is 22 + 0.06 ratio from condi damage and confusion is 18.25 + 0.05 ratio from condi and the damage ramp up from skill activation is 16.34 + 0.0325 ratio from condi damage , so even the bonus damage is weak and as you cannot stack this condition as much as bleeding it will always be a poor choice. and it's even worse in pvp/wvw. They need to rethink this condition , why not making it a condition who procs damage on hits then pulse condi damage normally , scaling with the number of stacks of confusion the target has , with a max treshold ofc , we don't want mirage stacking xD , or a condition who deals more damage to moving targets , or one who consume some stacks of confusion , making their damage instantly instead of on a duration with ofc another max treshold when the boss get hitted in a certain period with x stacks of confusion , or simply remove it and replace it with torment that will do too πŸ˜› .
  21. the skill was crap before and somehow they made it even crappier , in game where it is feraking easy to cap the 100% crit chance we are having skills who have 100% crit. chance base and so are tune down cause they have this . Now we have a leap who cc and again who is oriented melee .... and therefore they destroyed the nice interaction ele had with arcane power and previously elementals surge (now arcane lightening) And all of this deisgned specifically for pvp/wvw , i don't know if anet know that the state of ele in pve is the worst ever , the class has nothing to shine against any other class and this makes it even worse... what about splitting pvp/wvw ? who actuyally asked for arcane to be reworked , not like we have conjured weapons who are the weirdest and stupidiest deisgned skills ....
  22. yep that's we talk about Ele is only good in pvp/wvw and the changes are made for those modes were he already shines , thus we pve enjoyers are always left speechless with the actual design of ele being a melee fighter more than a range fighter , with very narrow option to go off distance without loosing potential support or dps. Changes on arcane are ofc really good in pvp/wvw , i mean a teleport who stuns ... that's freakish godly for a pvp match , but for pve were you ahve classes bench pressing 1000 damage cc with 2 skills a port who deals 100 breakbar and need a specific arcane traitline to work is utterly bad , also arcane traitline have most trait designed towards pvp too , i mean the only usefull thing in arcane is the boon share on attunement swap and the +180 concentration coupled with 15% reduc. on attunement swap , the rest is either bad or anectodict , i mean the water spring on rez is ok tier , the arcane evasive is pretty bad , the effects has little to no impact in pve , having 250 healing yourself on attunement swap doesn't make any difference and 1 might on attunement swap .. for yourself ! not even for allys proxy ... that's utter trash tier for pve endgame.
  23. Waaaa ? ele has a staff ? i completely forgot this so called "weapon" who throws hot candys at your enemy and make a meteor sprinkles to please kids . It's again a pvp change , every change to ele since 2-3 years has been oreinted for pvp/wvw , do not wonder why you only see 0.2 of ele in pve , the class is just blatant bad and playing as an ele if you are a new player is starting the game by shooting yourself in the feet and even as a vet you will not perform better than any other class while also being more sensitive to downstate , a bad support , a bad support/dps and a bad dps , so sad cause the attunement mechanic whole is pretty well tought. Staff isn't a good dps weapon , it's neither a good support weapon cause of the narrow boon range , who make no sense in a game where you stack and destack so often. And if all of that is not enough you have the lowets armor and the lowest hp both of the whole game , a glass canon , but they forgot to add the canon , it's just glass... And for ppl who don't agree , explain to me this : https://gw2wingman.nevermindcreations.de/popularity , yeah you can hover to fractals or strikes it's not gonna change the slightest the % , class not played = class is bad ! Ele need a whole 1.0 to 2.0 update to be on pair with others .... i expect any confused emote to come with a full explanation of ele strong points vs weak points ... but i can still dream...
  24. yeah but if you played scourge you would achieve better dps , could have more survivability and end up with same base life as ele but with viper stuff. I know it's not all about efficiency , but when i go there with my reaper and end up at 50 k on sorrow with 25 stacks and seeing i have the same life as an ele ... well the choice is pretty easy to pick for me (and not talking about the self quickness who make you not rely on your squad), i don't see any reason why do ele need to build survivability in his armor/weapons/trinkets pieces to not be a liability , like all others class have survivability trough armor, bigger hp or can do damage from afar , for me ele full zerk doesn't feel right , as you said , many ppl will point out trailbrazer comp. and celestial , why no berserker like any other class seems to fit very well even in open world solo. But well i know you from other forums discussion about ele , and i think you know my view on ele 😁(****************** absolute trash class, to stay polite , but that's my opinion)

S tier : necro and revenant : two classes able to selfsustain boons on themselves or allys , access to huge quickness with no boon duration, thats' my kind of problem in open world , i find any classes with no quickness very sloopy , as support i think the power of hscg is completely busted and i like it , the vindicator with sigil of endurance is just too fun and goofy to play in open world and the rework on kalla troops for renegade made this class a good heal alac. A tier : guardian ,thief , mesmer : thx to the rifle mesmer is one of my favourite healers and virtuoso is just so powerfull in endgame, still a bit sad mirage 2x staff alac isn't really on spot right now , thief has a nice comeback as quickness which i enjoy and specter is still my favourite condi alac class. Hfb still a monster healer but could use some update on boon aoe sharing B tier : warrior , ranger , engi : i adore the scrap quickness with this barrier output making him a tank without any thougness or vitality needed , but the reworks to rely on combos for quickness ruined the class for me , same for druid , i used to be a main druid but when they added the alac trough celestial avatar skills i just stopped playing it . I play solely bladesworn alac as warrior why i do admit the class lack all sort of boons and especially cc skills , i just like bench pressing other dps and make them notice i am the actual alac provider and have to admit that for me this class is my sole alac power class (i really **** at chrono dps power) C tier : Ele : Used to be my main char with almost 5000 hours on it , i am disgusted at all his weaknesses and cannot conclude any advantages the class has : many useless skills in the attunement pool , too low armor and hp for no reason and is mostly melee combat as a mage while having the same sqhishiness as a mage .... i don't have touched the class since ages and i am not willing too , only if a solid 2.0 update on it .
