  1. The biggest issue is the lack of transparency. The moment someone hits a living story paywall after buying "Everything they need to experience Tyria" they are going to try to refund the game on steam and/or leave a bad review.
  2. My proposed solution is to add a "Complete Pack" on Steam. This will carry a higher price tag but open up all content. Since the expansion bundle is $49.99 perhaps they could offer all of the Living Story + Expansions for $59.99 or $69.99.
  3. If this game launches on steam and the language used for the expansion bundle is used there - it will be a bad time, when people hit paywall after paywall despite reading things like "Get everything you need to experience Tyria" they are likely going to refund their expansion bundle and give the game a bad review. It needs to be reworded or at least explained to people that they are not acquiring "Everything they need to experience Tyria" or bad reviews will follow.   4. Exposed The Exposed effect is applied when a creature's defiance bar is broken and causes the creature to take additional power and condition damage for a short duration. Previously, there was no consistent duration for Exposed. We are standardizing its applied duration to 10 seconds, which is longer than the previous durations. With increased duration, we are also adjusting the effect to compensate. Previously, Exposed caused the target to take 30% increased damage from strikes and 100% from conditions. This short window of Exposed overrewarded certain builds with high burst capability in content such as fractals. Moving forward, Exposed causes 10% increased damage from strikes and 20% from conditions over its longer duration of 10 seconds. This allows more time to take advantage of this window of opportunity while more consistently rewarding a variety of builds. We will be keeping a very close eye on the effects of this change. TL;DR: Exposed will now be ten seconds (longer) and the damage bonus to conditions will drop from 100% to 20%. The damage from Power will drop from 30% to 10%.
  5. For your Healbrands do you prefer Harriers, Minstrels, a combination, or something else. I have my eye on minstrels for the added survivability until I get a better hang of things.
  6. I was considering building a support scourge and I had questions about its viability. Is this a class that is accepted in the meta? Does it do well?
  7. Does anyone know if we're allowed to keep our accounts independent from steam when they add steam support? I'd prefer to not have to use steam.
  8. I am a returning player and I generally prefer sustain/tanky types of classes. I am having trouble finding a class that doesn't seem to have a large amount of problems (according to the forums). If you go in each profession sub forum you will see someone complaining the profession is dead, it wasn't properly treated, x profession is better, this one is dead, but the same goes for whatever profession they claim was better on that professions forums. What is actually good at the moment? By good, I don't mean FOTM/meta, I am looking for something that I won't generally feel bad playing in all forms of content. I had my eye on Warrior and Necro but apparently Necro has the lowest PVE damage and Warrior is in a bad spot and has a banner rework coming. So please, what is actually viewed as good in EoD?
