Ok, one thing that amazes me is how people are able to see what is happening on the screen. When you are in a big event there are so many people with all kinds if spells flying around, circles on the floor, and your own circles on the floor. Honestly, I can't even see where i'm pointing my own stuff at. Don't get me wrong, I really like this game but there is just to much things going on, "You can't see the forest for the trees" How do you do it ? 🙄

Do you need a certain amount of dmg done maybe? Or be in for enough time?

I have done countless of events now and only gotten update on two of them. I even soloed one in a cave collecting ore and no update. Am I missing something here or are only some of them counting?

Are there any rifles that goes Pew pew instead of bam bam the whole time? Can get kind of annoying after a while. Id love something less noisy 😛

I'm trying to put together an outfit that uses the druid staff, the one that looks like a tree and you get it when you spec druid the first time. Now i'm wondering if there are any other weapons, clothes that uses the same theme? I'm trying to achieve a "nature look"

I'm saving points now to start the Scrapper and i'm wondering if it's similar to how the Medic worked in Wildstar? In that game they had small flying robots that helped them with healing and damage and I really liked that class. Is it anything like that with the Scrapper? So far I have only been able to place 1/3 of the talents and i'm still feeling squishy, but i have read that it is a rather good spec to solo with. So I guess i'm either doing something wrong or it will come later when more points are placed. So while I collect them i'm running the Mechanic.

I would instead love the option to turn them into something else:´:) I want 5 butterflies or flowers or something. But the option to turn them off would be good too.

I got my Mesmer to lvl 80 and asked in the channel what would be a good Elite Spec to start with if you are a casual player. I was given the advice to go Virtuoso. Now, I can't really agree that its an easy spec as I feel really fragile, even more so than I did as core Mesmer using a Greatsword + Scepter / ****. Was I given the wrong option? I'm gathering more Mastery Points now and I wonder if I should keep putting points in Virtuoso or go for one of the other specs? I would be grateful if you motivated why I should pick the spec you suggest 🙂

I have huge lag spikes that lasts about 30 secs. Map is all black and lots of texts are gone when you hover over items. It happens ALOT! It was fine just a few days ago. Not doing anything unusual in the background.

I had this exact problem a few days ago and went nuts! First time I had it installed manually but now I used Addon Manager and the program told me that it couldnt update because file d3d911.dll was already in there, and one more that I cant remember. So I just simly removed those and let the manager make a new one, and then it worked again. Just simply removed the files that the program said was already in there. To be safe, maybe save the files in another folder just incase.

What did you do to solve it? We are having the same issue here this very minute. It first stoped at 7% and we tried an other download server, i think it was german. And it stoped again. We went back and now it stopes at 4%. I have my game sorted as I have had it downloaded already, but my boyfriend who wants to have a go after having a long break just cant get the game downloaded again 😞

Almost there!! What Elit spec would you advice a beginner to start with? I do open world and I play casually.

I play only open world. Might try PvP one day when I feel comfortable with abilities and such. So im wondering, will I still be able to enjoy this game? Im guessin its only world bosses that will be the main focus, right? My main is Ranger, but im testing other classes aswell.

I would love to try a necro, but I just cant stand all those pets in all kinds of shapes running around. I dont mind just the one pet, like my ranger has. But necro has abit to many and I just feel they get in my way.

I really enjoy a class that have access to healing if needed. What class would you suggest is the easiest one to play? I have a ranger but im not 100% sure about the druid. And I really cant stand the sound of a sonar when using ability nr 1. I love the ranger overall tho. Any other suggestion? Oh, im doing mostly open world content and no raids/dungeons. Might try Pvp, not sure.

I couldnt find a way to properly fill in the gear. But I was adviced in chat to get Nika's gear. And then I just went for Berserker gear like ppl said. Ofc not! But I thought it was ok to start the new exp as I was lvl 80. I didnt use a booster. First I just did the bot needed for the mount. Then I had a quick look at the jungle area but felt I wanted to work some more on the mount. Honestly nothing said it would be such a huge difference between lvl 80 in the old world and lvl 80 stuff in the new worlds. How was I supposed to know?

Well as a beginner I didnt know I "should" do the core game first 🙂 And I really wanted that mount and was working my way towards the springer. But yes, maybe I should take a few steps back and finish the old content first. Didnt actually know it would be such a huge difference tbh 😛

I have worked my way up to lvl 80 and started doing quests and stuff in the Crystal Oasis and some in the Jungle. Haven't bought the new expansion yet. I bought the 2 expansion package not to long ago. But I noticed how much harder things got in the new zones. I never did any of the lvl 80 zones from the very first expansion, I jumped straight into the story line of Path of Fire to get the mount. I guess i'm just a bit to much of a casual and a noob still, but i'm almost losing interest because things feel so much harder and I feel a bit lost how to get all these Mastery points. And some of them are SO hard to get. I went and bought some new gear (im a ranger). That made it a tiny bit easier. But still, it makes me a bit sad that it became that much harder suddenly. Oh well, I guess I have to keep practicing 🙂

I also deleted my first character just a few days ago. I had no idea about this. She was a Asura Ranger that I just didnt want to play anymore. So I made a human instead. Hmm if I had known this I might have kept her.

Hi! Im new to the game and just hit 80. I put my points in the soulbeast tree but I regret it as im not using it very much anyway. Wasnt my cup of tea. Is there a way to reset those points and try druid instead?
