Gw2 respects your time you put into game. That why it's best mmo for me. Logged out in 2013, came back in 2022 and I can continue where I left off.

Started with wow. Age of conan was fun but did not last long for me. Warhammer online was fun, really enjoyed greenskin Shaman till game shut down. Rift and aion were decent but I end up going back to wow. Cant forget secret world and tabula rasa.

Was thinking of thief since I did like 0laying rogue in wow.

I don't really care about minions. In wow I play lock and demononly was ok. Preferred affliction. In gw2 I prefer coni over anything.

Hello fellow GW2 community. I have huge love for necromancer. Any rpg game i ever played I always choose necromancer. Diablo 2 and 3, eso and many more. I have few boost tokens sitting in my account and I can not seem to decide what class to boost. I played just over 1k hours with my necromancer and hes my only character that i have. I mainly play OW content, and i like to kearn pvp. I watched few videos on GW2 classes and I can not decide. I like melee, but always seem to choose ranged. I like a class that may be able to do both by switching builds and also a class that performs well in pvp. Any advice welcome. Thanks in advance.

HoT was very frustrating for new player PoF still going though story, like it. EoD story felt short, the environment is amazing to look at and explore

I owned GW2 since release. I took 6 year break due to wow. I stop playing wow few years back and I been itching to find new mmo to call home. Since GW2 became soooo much better since I played it last, I end up hooked on GW2. My main is necromancer on Tarnish Coast and I like to join a guild that runs both pve and pvp (wvw). I never have played wvw or raided in GW2 so im a noob in those game modes. Currently i have all berserker exotic gear and some viper. I like to achieve my legendary equipment, which to me it feels so out if reach with out help if a guild. I'm old guy that is married and has limited time to play during week, but weekend are mostly open. My time zone is US east. I'm very active and respectful, may be little quiet when it comes to discord but defetly will join to listen and follow instructions.

Blood spec is very good for support using a dagger in main hand. Also will keep your partner alive more.

By the way skill 3 in shroud aborbs damage.

Most mmo require a very good cpu with high speed on single core. Gw2 is cpu intensive. I have amd 5600x with rtx 3070 and fps still drops in meta events. Unfortunately it's how the game was designed.

I fell for this trap. I came back to gw2 after 5 year break and bought the EoD xpack that included HoT and PoF. I was exited to play all story content from beginning in order until I found out i need to spend another 50$ to buy all living world. I was not pleased. I end up skipping all that living world content and I don't think I will buy it. Another issue I run into is when I bought all those xpack trough their store, it did not state that was in American currency. I live in Canada so my xpacks cost me more then expected.
