Is there any value in using say, an Axe and Mace or switching to Herald and going Sword/Shield or Mace/Shield?

So I'm running a Celestial Renegade build right now using Shortbow and Staff. I like this idea of being an all-rounder and I also like how the player controls the Ventari Tablet, kinda like the set play you see in fighting games I suppose. I found some slightly old builds on Guildjen, along with some dated information lying around the internet. I could use some newer info regarding such a build. https://guildjen.com/celestial-ventari-renegade-roaming-build/ From what I understand, this build lacks CC in WvW so I'm wondering what people do to play around that or fix the issue.

Yeah, I looked in there a few times and found some decent swords skins that I consider "almost there". To name a few: Dragonbone Sword Ebon Vanguard Sword Etherbound Sword Exemplar's Edge Gallant Sword Infinite Light Timekeeper Sword Zodiac Sword These are the ones that speak to me the most, but they go a little over the top with all the bright colors, flares, etchings, etc.

Let me explain. 🙂 I've been on the look out for a good sword skin for quite a long time to match an outfit of mine. I tried to find something plain, simple, with no decorative etchings or glowing lights but I quickly realized finding something like that is really hard. Right now I'm using the Ascalonian Sword since it's the closest to what I'm looking for. Aureate Sword is another good one that I want to mention too, it's just the hilt that keeps me away from it. Though, there are times where I wish I could fix up this sword to make it look a little cleaner. Perhaps, restored versions of the Ascalonian weapons? Hello, I returned to the game about 2 or 3 weeks ago, catching up on content and I'm at a point where I can start working on obtaining my Griffon mount but having trouble getting the things I need. I have been sitting in front of the bounty board in Crystal Desert at the Temple of Kormir waypoint for several hours, waiting for this Legendary Bounty to spawn to no avail. I heard these are supposed to spawn roughly 30 minutes or so from the time it spawns or when it's defeated. Is this true?
