  1. Hey, you think you guys can stop locking POI's behind events? Been waiting to get full map completion in Amnytas for literal weeks because I can't sit on the game staring at some stupid barrier for hours on end waiting for a single area to unlock because of a random event that I'll miss if I'm not in the area when it pops. Feels especially crappy knowing that anyone with a teleport can cheese their way in there without the event, and I'm a ranger, so I guess it sucks to be me. Really don't understand the design mentality behind that crap, especially when you know that literally no one likes the system. This is shown by how there's guides on how to cheese the system on the literal wiki of the game. EDIT: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Erudition_Arcade this is the POI in question
  2. Right there in the title. I get that lots of people like jumping puzzles, but lots of other people don't. I for one can't stand them. If I wanted to play a platformer, I'd play Mario or something. content like Jumping Puzzles should always be optional side content. And the Mad King jumping puzzle being required to do the daily is genuinely unfair. I lag quite a bit when playing the game, and that put together with the timed aspect of the puzzle makes doing it essentially impossible. Which means I can't do my daily. It's a cool puzzle, and I get why people enjoy them, but having it be a mandatory step in the daily is just. For those of us that don't enjoy jumping puzzles, it sort of takes the fun out of the event, and for those of us that lag like me, it almost ruins the event because now there's stuff I basically just. Can't get/do.
  3. Not sure if this has been thrown out there (i'm sure it has at some point) please, for the love of god, make basic character customization changes like hair style/color not something that I have to farm keys for or spend gems on. Please. There's no reason other than blatant greed for something so basic to be linked to the cash shop/otherwise be such a pain to do. Put a vendor in the game, charge us like 5 gold to change our hairstyle/color. Changing more detailed stuff like eyes/height/gender/etc, that's fine. That makes sense for stuff like that to cost gems. But hairstyle and color? This is the only game aside from SWTOR I can think of that charges IRL money for something so basic, and when your main competitor for "how greedy are we being" is EA, then I feel like you really oughta re-evaluate your priorities in game development. And no. The game being free to play is 0 excuse for that. That's like charging for drinking at a water fountain at a water park.
