  1. Pronouns used to refer to elder dragons: Zhaitan: he, sometimes it. Mordremoth: he Kralkatorik: He Aurene: She Jormag: They Primordus: He S-bubbles: She So...yes. Also in the English language the pronoun used to refer to a single person of unknown gender is "he", the pronoun used to refer to a genderless object is "it", and "they" is strictly plural. This is basic grammatical structure you should have learned in elementary school. It descends at least in part from the Latin roots in the second declension that contained both masculine and neuter genders.
  2. The biggest problem with "wayfinder" is how disconnected it is from what we have done. At first the character is referred to by a racial title, based on the player's accomplishments at the very start of the game. Then, an Order title, a rank in the organization the player chooses to join. Then Commander, a title in a new organization the player worked to build. That one stuck through other, local sobriquets, which were all based on things the player did, often at the head of a force. But "wayfinder" is a rank in an organization the player didn't chose, based on...no really specific actions. It's not a natural evolution from a previous title or a reaction to the player's choices. And here's the thing that really irks things. They deliberately make a point of not referring to the player as Commander. It's very dismissive of everything the player has done up to that point. Namely, saving reality itself from unraveling. Because the self-appointed council of amnesiacs had bigger issues to worry about than elder dragons. Bleck.
  3. It's absolutely a let's-be-inclusive thing. They did the same thing with Jormag.
  4. Absolutely do not trust anyone in the self-appointed council of arrogant amnesiacs. They've actually managed to be less likely than jade chick, and that's an accomplishment. I keep hoping the Commander will facepalm, come to his senses, and call in reinforcements. We've done mist travel before. Gorrik, Taimi, and Rytlock would be huge assets in this fight. Instead we're stuck with the one who ran away from everything and her new friends who, let's not forget, kidnapped the Commander to abduct him into their weird alternate reality sky cult.
