As much as i used to like this game that expansion seems lacking alot, not to mention that at release it seems a quarter expansion at best at a price tag of almost a full expansion. I'll wait till the full release and see what they bring to the table because I'm expecting the worst... I hope Anet proves me wrong. I missed gw1 since i joined the mmorpg scene at 2010 with Aion so for me it seems to be the right time to enjoy this game that people calls 'amazing' and maybe later come to gw2 if they manage to adress the mess that's become gw2.

Now if that content was actually good but..

Whatever they come with I'm not supporting it, I've seen enough lately on this game so i wont take that ship. NEXT

My biggest disapointment about this class was when they launched harbinger, and sadly since that point i started playing less and less till the beggining of the actual 'balance' philosophy that made me quit.Good old times Gw2 but now we can call it NEXT

Once i loved this game, and i played it for so long so i keep up looking for some changes. But it seems they ran alot of kilometers on the wrong way. Maybe time to say NEXT

The worst part is people buying it

At this point they are just milking players, but hey, it seems to be working since i see alot of people preordering what they are calling their new EXPANSION 🤣🤣 What we all should know at this point is of which side the coin has fallen. I'm missing this game so bad since i stopped playing almost from the beggining of eod, but i have to say that during all those years(2014-2020)for me it was a blast. At some point ill comeback to lose myself and walk around some beautifull and well crafted locations like Tangled Depths but thats it.

I have to agree that balance changes made specially since 2022 are ruining the game (and that's why i dont play anymore) but maybe the balance team are just following the steps Anet (and game director) tells them and from there they try to make whatever they can. Whatever, some changes are a must, and they should stop messing around and trashing player builds every 6 months.

This time there are lots of people not happy, and mostly of them like me wont spend a a cent on this new exp, even less preordering it.

You could make more noise but not be clearer

They will notice quite soon when all their playerbase disappear

I've been playing since 2014 and last summer (2022) i made the decision of leaving this game. I regret my purchase of eod and this account that was gifted to a friend that left for the same reasons. The thing they call balance is going crazy since eod and they didnt stop messing with their game lately just to name some excuse. It was good till it lasted, ofcourse i wont spend a cent on this game never ever again nor any new product they pretend to realase. Goodbye Anet

I would say core celestial/viper (or carrion/rabid if going extremely cheap) ranger with rune of the afflicted, using mainly shortbow and axe torch to burst packs of mobs. There are plenty of tanky pet choices that will buy her alot of time, my favourite starters are the ones with some tankiness + dps like marsh drake or murelow bear(this one provides a very usefull poison field) and u can complement it with a secondary fully tank+utility brown bear, and unlike necro minions with proper pet management they wont die so they can tank alot of damage. Later if she wants to improve skillwise, switching to soulbeast can be a challenge and at the same time an improvement over core ranger because it plays like it but with improved tools. As a reference something like this will allow her to clear any content with ease, traiting wilderness knowledge instead of poison master+ brown bear will keep its character clean of condis if needed (if going with carrion i would trait trapper's expertise and fill the skill bar with traps and change the bow sigils for the ones that improve poison+bleed duration): http://gw2skills.net/editor/?POwAUd/lFw8YfsQ2JWaP3L/Sm1VA-zxIY1omvUirAqLECMBKNCMYWg5ZDA-e

League of Legends is not even there !!!! 🤯

Still weak even before invigorating precision prenerf, nowadays is utterly trash. You can argue that it is an easy class to perform with at max at its cap, that doesn't mean it is a good class by anymeans. Like op stated in open world solo is just a mess, it serves to explore and clearing quick some trash, when you face any harder solo content you are done.

With druid you will be unkilleable soloing stuff, it just will take more time than other specs but with the ammount of sustain you will carry, nothing will be a challenge for you. Like others stated, celestial gear is the way to go. If you bought some expansions you will have a booster and you can get for free all the celestial exotic gear from there (Note that if u want to lvl up without the booster to get the grasp of the game, which i recommend, later you can use it just for the gear because crafting celestial gear will take you some time and sources). Druid plays like core ranger with the addition of celestial avatar form, which morfs you into a powerfull healer character. Shortbow for dps and staff for utility/healing is the way to go and you can carry an aditional set of weapons to increase your dps and swap it for the staff when healing/utility isnt required, this secondary set will be axe+torch.

That was a classic standard for new players, i used this same combo brown bear+ soldier gear 🙂. One friend was always scared of me because i didn't stop my autoattack with gs killing subject alpha on crucible of eternity but almost every time worked as expected i used to dodge its big aoe with the chain skill 3...

Ive been maining ranger since i started with this game back in 2013, and ive never been kicked out of any party. I used to fill my skill bar with spirits back then when they followed you and wielding gs/axe-axe or axe-warhorn. Good times

This rune is quite often seen on dragohunters and it's behaviour is quite fun adn frustrating at the same time 🙂
