  1. I understand Anet are trying to balance how much gold players can make from the Wizard's Vault and in that effort in this last update (among other things) they "Reduced the vendor sale value of Black Lion Mastery Coffers available from the Wizard's Vault from 1 gold to 10 silver". The thing is, that update applied to the old chests in your inventory as well and not just to the new ones you can get this season, so if you had chests from last season in your inventory they are worthless now. All the items I get from the WV that are purely for making money, I keep them all season long and only chash them only in the end of the season, so I can get an idea of how much money I made from that season of WV. And when I loged in post-patch, I was going to finaly cash all my Bag of Coins and Black Lion Mastery Coffers, and the coffers price dropped from 1g to 10s. If I sell them now instead of 20 gold I have 2g... I wouldn't have bought them in the first place if this was their cash value. I get that Anet want them to sell for less money, because the only reason people were buying them was for the gold they were worth, but the update shouldn't have applied to the chests from last season already in people's inventories. The update just made me loose 18g. I would have used that AA in other stuff if they were just going to sell for 10s.
  2. It's just like any other achievement. When you do it you get a chest on the bottom right corner of your screen that you have to click. Then it shows the content of the chest, you accept and you get the 100AA. Unless you have over 1200AA in the Wizard's Vault, in that case you loose the 100AA. The vault is capped at 1300AA, and inside the vault the system works well, if you are going to go over the cap you can't open the chest untill you spend some AA. When they decided to put the AA in an achievement chest they obviously forgot to program a similar system, or thought it would be too much work to do it. And you either get all of the AA or none. I was at 1245AA when I opened the chest, so I never got the 100AA. And support says they have no way of manually give the 100AA, so it's gone. If they can't make sure you get the AA when they put it in achievements chests then they shouldn't put it there. They broke the system by wanting to promote AA with the weekly event and didn't thought of all possible outcomes. They should either find a way to fix it or just not put it in achievements chests anymore.
  3. Thank you so much for the tip of using gw2efficiency to check if I did or not get those 100AA. I felt like I didn't got them but I wasn't sure, and through gw2efficiency I was able to prove I did not got it. It didn't matter cause support say that since I opened the chest they can't do nothing about it, cause they have no way of giving me 100AA, so I wont be getting my 100AA. So be careful everyone, don't open the tier 4 chest if you are already over 1200AA. The chest won't lock (like the dailies and weeklies), you'll be able to open it but your 100 AA will be lost, and support says they can't give you back the 100AA you lost...
  4. Todays blog post about Lunar New Year reads: "The annual Lunar New Year festival begins next week! Tyrians are celebrating the beginning of the Year of the Rabbit with fireworks, games, delicious Canthan food, and prizes." I wonder if they fixed it for the LNY food after the backlash... Or was that food not salvagable into research notes?
  5. at first i though it was bugged and it wasn't adding my achievements, then i realised it's in reverse, so it was adding to the end of the list (on screen) even though I was puting them on the first place on the list. i had to switch everything arround so i could see my dailies. i hope this is a bug and not a feature.
