That summary seems to wrap it up pretty well. On top of this, their "support" answers any issue reports with standard templates about updating graphics drivers or adjusting settings in the nvidia control panel to improve performance or telling me afterwords, that linux is not supported and i should use something like Crossover (just another standard template) while i told them, that the game is running with dx9, just with very low FPS. So one bad update alone would not be a trigger for me, but combined with a support that does not deserve this name, i wont spend any more money on this game as of that update.

That does not seem to work for me, adding that commit diff as user patch to wine-staging-7.13 in gentoo does not work as half the changes to vulkan.c fail to apply. What version of wine-staging are you using and what exactly does your patch look like?

I was running GW2 just fine yesterday with vanilla wine-7.12 and dxvk-1.10.1 Today after the update i got the crash too. Updating dxvk to 1.10.2 and wine to 7.13 did not help. After uninstalling dxvk i am able to run GW2 (with dx9), but with low FPS. Seems like this coherentui "update" was a major downgrade for linux users.
