  1. Don't worry, I don't post on all of them. However I decided to change my forum account that doesn't have direct references to my main accounts since I encountered an in-game stalker awhile ago.
  2. Not sure what you are talking about. You are aware that the majority of people don't connect via static IP addresses? Depending on your ISP, even your typical local ADSL/VDSL-connection can easily rotate through a handful of different IP subnets. You will usually notice an email/SMS authentication request if you connect from a new subnet. ANet's geolocation data used for non-datacenter connections is fairly accurate, at least in my region. Unless you constantly try to connect through a wide variety of different countries via a VPN service, you should be fine. The geolocation data ANet uses, is a bit wonky for datacenter IPs though. However if one sticks to the same location/datacenter of ones VPN service, it's unlikely to trip up security. From my own experience, none of my 618 accounts that typically use two physical locations with two different ISPs and a VPN service always using the same datacenter has ever been blocked for changing IP addresses. About a third of my accounts have over a dozen authenticated IP subnets, but these are also protected by SMS 2FA. However I don't advise adding an authenticator or SMS 2FA while using a fresh/first time authenticated IP or a VPN.
  3. Doesn't seem to work for me. Deleting Window 10's DirectX shader cache doesn't help either. From what I noticed so far it seems to be caused by a glitch related to pre-culling when dynamic lights are enabled/disabled while moving the camera in tight spaces. It also happens occasionally to water reflections when moving the camera quickly while swimming.
  4. Try a different IP address, especially if you use a VPN. From my experience that's the most common cause for that sort of error. Alternatively temporarily disable browser addons that block ads, try to avoid tracking or enhance your privacy when accessing your GW2 account.
  5. My little buying spree from earlier netted me roughly ~9 pcs per promotion in the MF which seems to be a bit above average, so it actually made me some additional money.
  6. Yeah sorry, I wasn't in the mood to drive the price much higher than that Maybe I buy out more later, once I checked the amount of spirit shards on my alt accounts. Especially after having the TP crash on me 6x in the last 2 hours. You are aware of the T5 -> T6 material promotions in the Mystic Forge? Selling T5 directly is almost always the worst option.
  7. Those bug reports go directly to the QA team and not customer support. Therefore you won't get a response, unless you found something really, rally rare which you most likely didn't. However, it means the chance that the report is noticed is much higher nevertheless. That doesn't necessarily mean that you will see a bugfix anytime soon. (Just for reference, I'm waiting for a bugfix of something that hinders some of my accounts' progress for three months now, but since it only affects EoD accounts w/o other expansions ANet doesn't seem to bother with it.) The picture you posted hints to some client-to-backend issue that was probably triggered by the last client update. My guess is that it'll take till the Aug. 2nd patch for the next festival to get all those TP-related issues resolved. The CS team usually replies with a canned response that instructs people to write an in-game bug report. Been there a couple of times by now. It's not even worth your time.
  8. Dunno, what you are going on about. I just bought out all sell orders from 13c to 19c (~1k pieces) for a couple of minutes and posted some buy orders for another 1k pieces and it took something like 20 minutes to get to a 18c-19c buy-sell-spread on the TP without any further intervention. It looks like the typical volatility of T5 mats to me. I also posted a buy order for a stack of a certain semi-popular rune and it's still the top one after an hour, despite a profit margin above 10%. I've already flipped around 50 runes, so I don't think that TP botting is that rampant as you describe. Personally I'm more frustrated and disappointed by the number of underground teleporting chest farmbots that I notice every day when rotating through my parked alts. I've my popcorn ready, because I wanna hear that story as well.
  9. Look at their names I do weekly key runs on my main account and during the time of the GFN promo, every time I went through they human starter instance, I noticed blobs of characters with numbered names popping in. It's often something like "name" + "number" or "other identifier". Some folks use letters, others are more creative and use colors, etc. People are more open about it on the EU servers it seems, but you can spot them in the US as well. There might be people trolling, especially those two guys in Rata Sum (EU) who have their characters numbered above 400, but I don't doubt that someone has 100+ accounts, if they log-in with a huge bunch of numbered characters every day. edit: Yeah, I get that people here on the forums pretend that log-in farmers don't exist and get a bit "confused". I should've mentioned that I usually check both the character names and their public display names to be sure it's not just a numbered alt on the same account. Not to mention that some of those log-in farmers are actually people you can talk to and not just bots. Although some are a bit defensive when it comes to their actual account numbers.
  10. T5 mats prices are always weird, because they depend on the T6 mats prices which tanked thanks to the GeForce NOW promo that allowed log-in farmers to acquire as many heroic editions as they wanted for a period of 7 weeks or so. Personally I have counted many new farmers that seem to be well above 100 accounts since the end of last month. If you are actually looking for TP bots, I guess you should start looking for items with a high (above 15%) buy-order-to-sell-order-spread. From my observation you'll notice a lot of canceled buy orders on popular runes and sigils at the moment, but I doubt that all of them are bots. If TP bots were as rampant as you suspect, they'd probably reach equilibrium for attractive items rather quickly which would pretty much defeat the purpose of a bot. Not to forget that you can't flood the server with orders or cancelations at superhuman speeds in the first place. Try ordering 32k +1 Agony Infusions an tell me about your experience.
  11. That's mostly useful for folks who don't have a lounge pass that teleports you back to your source location. If you have one of those, the value of the conduit heavily depends on your playstyle and how you manage your loot. Other T5 (and T2) fine crafting materials can also be promoted in the Mystic Forge to T6 (and T3) materials at the cost of some spirit shards. This is a nice way to make some money once your material storage is filled to the brim with T5/T2 stuff. If you have alt-account(s) that drown in spirit shards, it's even more gold for you.
  12. Keep in mind that GW2 gained a lot of new and returning players during the last 12 months which most likely translates into many more TP transactions as well. Another issue is the global nature of the TP. That said this week's update definitely broke something on the client side. When logging through my 70 alts on my main account, I typically post stuff from ~30 alts each day without problems. However since the last major update the TP either crashes four or five times or doesn't load at all. From my experience each GW2 instance requires ~7GB system RAM and ~3GB VRAM to feel responsive. If you use DX11, an NVMe SSD helps quite a lot as well.
  13. Does bragging about the silly amount of accounts I own count?
