So I've been looking into Legendary Armour / Weapons and the long/expensive processes to getting them. It seems to me that for almost all of them you have to engage in WvW to acquire Gifts of Battle. I do not and will not PVP in ANY game because its against my religion. I stopped playing Destiny 2 because some of the Exotic Weapons I wanted required participation in PvP. Likewise, although I loved Black Desert while levelling characters, I ended up not playing them after level 50 because you are forced into PVP even in the open world. I'm fed up of Game Developers forcing PvP down people's throats if they want to get good gear. Does that mean I'm stuck with grinding Ascended Gear on all my chars in GW2 because that's the best I'll be able to get without engaging in PvP?

(In a Darth Vader-like voice) "I find your love of Pineapples quite un-disturbing" 😆 Being somewhat of a Pineapple fan myself and also a relatively new player to GW2, I'm hoping that your guild may be the home I'm looking for. I'm a PvE only player (I abhor PvP in any game) and I'm looking for a guild who is happy to help its members with advice or the occasional bit of help with PvE content. I'm currently in one very small guild with more chiefs than indians (and noone currently playing GW2). I'm a mature player, based in the UK, but currently playing on the Anvil Rock (NA) server, however I believe (I've been told) that all servers are linked now so joining any guild should not be a problem. Hello All, I'm a fairly new player (of a few weeks) and I'm looking for an active guild on the Anvil Rock Server who don't mind assisting new players in learning the game. That said, I do have two level 80 characters (both from boosts after buying all the expansions). I've been doing okay with my Mechanist trying to do the Living World Chapters to unlock the Skyscale Mount (but I'm only really at the start of this) but am struggling with my Level 80 Mesmer (I think I'm going Virtuoso with her) trying to get Hero Points to do her Virtuoso build. I should state that I'm not into any kind of PvP at all (as I don't believe in it) so I'm only a PvE player. I have at least one of each class (almost) at varying levels and on most of them I will be playing through all the PvE stories in sequence. If you are wondering why a UK player joined an NA Server, its because I'm in a Discord Group with some Streamers and a few of them play GW2. As a couple of their number live in North America they started on that server and the very few Euro players (including me) joined them, however they do not play GW2 much it seems. So I know that with time differences things can be a little difficult but I'm happy to work with that if you are. If anyone thinks that I might fit in with their family, please drop me a line.
