  1. The +vitality is the first direct stat boost we got since the introduction of ascended gear and stat-infusions. I enjoy getting some nice upgrade after all these years, even if its just a little more hp.
  2. The minigame was pretty intuitive, i quickly figured it out on the first catch you need to do during the story. Also, every game i played that had fishing in it, it was done as a minigame where you need to balance your fishing rod between "line tears" and "not enough pull, fish gets away", wich this one is too, so not sure what people expected. With how big of a deal they made out of that feature it was clear that this activity takes more effort than like the fishing in thunderhead peaks where you just need to press F.
  3. Since whales do a considerable part of the income for most online games, Anet has to make sure that whales can whale. So the decision is understandable. Personally im more concerned about the time itll take for the other dragon sets to be released. I hope we arent looking at a gen2.5 magnitude of padding there.
  4. Mainly doing this thread because im mad and wanna get off some of that frustration. But srsly, wtf is this? Most of the time the map doesnt even show up on the map-vote. When it does, it gets like 1 or 2 votes including my own. Because god forbid being able to actually play on a map thats already rare because its not in ranked. Nope, better vote for eternal colisseum, because thats so exciting and didnt already get played like a million times. I played around 6 hours of unranked pvp the last two days and only got to play the map once, and two people on my team just logged off so ofc we lost.
  5. If you can freely choose the weapon, id suggest going for the bloodbound hammer since that one has a unique skin that can only be unlocked with guaranteed wardrobe unlocks otherwise.

Right now im finishing off some achievements i already have good progress in and one of the is "blades in the mists" wich requires me to kill the aetherblades you can find in the middle of the eotm map. However i find them pretty tough to solo. When i pull the 2 at the entrance i can barely manage to kill one of them before i need to retreat. That way it would take forever to finish the achie off since i need like 550 more of them. Does anyone have some tipps for some good tanky builds for them? Preferably one where i can pull multiple at the same time. I have all classes.
  7. Happened to me aswell, one time at the end of the 2nd round of the treasure hunt in labyrinthine cliffs and 2 times during bounties on sandswept isles.
  8. legendary inventory bags would be nice, where you can select wich parameters they have (like invisible, prioritize Champ-bags, etc)
  9. Its probably more safe to remove them before the update. While you are at it, remove runes and sigils aswell. The blog post says that all legendary items will be put into the armory automatically once you log on to the char that has them afaik.

  11. You can solo this with a revenant. Just pull both oozes at once and keep ventari tablet up during the way to the gate.
  12. Want: HousingDont want: Playable Tengu. Seriously, why do so many people want that? The effect on gameplay would be absolutely minimal, and Anet would have to make all existing armor-skins and outfits fit for Tengu, and also would have much more work when introducing new armor-skins and outfits from then on. Spend those ressources elsewhere please.

The old stuff still costs the same if you convert your old kps to new ones (like the red infusion is 450 new ones, so 5x the old price wich was 90).Ofc they dont want to give players too much of a headstart on buying the new stuff. Tbh you can be glad that they made it possible to use your old kps to purchase some of the new stuff. The alternative wouldve been an entirely new kp/currency for the new rewards.
  14. Doing map-completion right now and noticed that all the targets (hero points, vistas, PoIs) no longer show their elevation. They used to be transperent and have an arrow up or down next to them depending on wether they are above or below you. Now they are opaque on all map-layers and dont show the arrows anymore.
