  1. Thanks a lot for your response everyone! That was very insightful and funny. Guess I'll continue doing Bitterfrost then :> Good huntings! Also, thanks a lot for this one, much needed!
  2. Hello, What farm site are you basing it on? If you mean fast.farming-community, I don't think they have database on the Icebound chests. Only the "Winterberry Farm". I also have not read any threads or forums about this topic so I'm even more curious.
  3. Title. I've been opening chest in Bitterfrost Frontier for quite a while now and I'm seriously starting to think it's better than Silverwaste. Instead of tagging events, waiting for the chest train, you can open chests in Bitterfrost Frontier for an unlimited amount of time as long as you have 3-4 characters you can switch to before the meta restarts. Furthermore, you can open chests at a rate of 1 per 5 seconds and it contains more or less 4 unidentified gears: blue, green, and rare every chest. And instead of buying keys, you can just open it with a torch where you can light up called Braziers, and these braziers have event rewards as well, and they give you unidentified gear rewards as well. Also combined with the fact that there's a chance you can get Winterberries and a guaranteed chance of getting Unbound Magic. So question is, am I overestimating? Is Bitterfrost Frontier really better than Silverwaste in terms of gold per hour? Have anyone tested this out?
  4. Thanks a lot for your reply! Sorry I forgot to mention that I've already got most of the masteries you mentioned, but now that you mentioned the Crystal Champion mastery, that really does sound really useful. Also, don't worry about burning myself out. I balance chilling in the game and doing goals altogether. But with the way I stand now, I'm currently grinding for Ascended armor for my Firebrand Guardian so I can get to T4 Fractals, do you think that's a good path? Also, should I grind gold to max Armorsmithing and Weaponsmithing now that I'll be grinding Ascended for Guardian? When should I start grinding for Griffon? Also, what's the objectively most profitable way of earning gold? Sorry for the loads of questions, hehe.
  5. TL;DR: I'd like to ask for a specific, most or atleast near most efficient and optimal sequence of things to do. Context: I'm level 80, own all expansions, not living worlds though, I have 3 level 80 characters, have not owned any ascended armor. Hello, I understand Guild Wars 2 should be anything you want, but I'd like to achieve high numbers - I'd like to get high mastery points, achievement points, and complete ascended/legendary armor fastest way possible. But I'm not sure what to prioritize first. For instance, I'm not sure if it's better to grind for Griffon first and then ascended armor. I'm not sure what I should save money for, what living world episodes to buy, etc.. I'm not sure what masteries to level up first. I'm not sure what mount to level up first, etc.. Not sure where to grind gold, there's just a lot of options. This is not just for me though, we'd appreciate it if anyone were to give a comprehensive list of things to do, in order. Let's put fun aside, and talk about efficiency. Because obviously, if I'd feel bored, I can just not follow the guide anytime I want. Also, let's avoid dailies for now, there's tons of threads of that already. Just tell me what to do in the long run. Thanks!
  6. The details of this report is sufficiently explained in the title. I'm probably missing something about another way to teleport from Isle of Reflection (Guild Hall) to Tyria, all I can think about at that moment was to kill myself. So I did. Now I'm stuck, and the problems are: 1. I can't respawn anywhere since I left the guild and it has a sword thingy on the waypoints, similar to when a waypoint is contested. 2. There's no "Leave Guild Hall," since I'm not a member of any guild anymore. The way I solved this was, to put a "Teleport to Friend" in the shared inventory slot, joined a party, then teleported again. However, there's another solution, go to "character selection" then go back to your character then pray you get teleported to the PvE world. Suggestion 1. Add a way to teleport back to Tyria after leaving a guild, while inside a guild hall. If you found any other way of doing this, do reply in the comment section to help future players!
  7. Thank you so much, your list is literally the thing I was thinking about. Also, good points on the tips as they verified some of the things I've learned from videos I've watched. You've both convinced me to buy EoD and it's true that I can grind the gold in the future for the qualify-of-life items. You've given me a great deal to think about. However, question: I have a copper-fed salvage kit, should I use it on green (Masterwork) gears? Or is there better alternatives out there? I've heard that green gears have runes and I'm worried I might be losing much when grinding for gold, or is the profit loss not that significant?
  8. How did you even get that many banks tabs and shared inventory slots? Gold conversion? That's amazing! I've been watching many gold farming videos and I just can't seem to fully grasp it. But I believe it is essentially getting the best materials from farming locations and selling them for profit? Or am I missing something?
  9. Alrighty, thanks a lot for your input. Personally, I'm still not in the phase where I'd need bank slots, bag slots, etc., since they can be really expensive. What do you guys store in your banks slots? Compared to Runecrafter's Salvage Kit, you almost always have a use for it which I think is worth the money. Bank slots and bag slots can be replaced with alt account slots, so I think I'd buy them last.
  10. For context, I'm still half way in Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire, and Living World expansions. Is it worth buying the Salvage Kits first as I finish through the stories first? Or is End of Dragons more worth it as it opens new content such as those new mounts, and especially since I really want to play a Mechanist specialization? Bonus question if I may: Which is better to buy first, Silver-Fed or Runecrafter's? Thanks in advance! 🤗
