I do not like the way they are changing dailies and log ins from a system that worked for casuals with not so much time, to one that requires constant 'thought' on managing yet another currency, no more pop in do dailies 2 gold, having to 'choose' which game mode for dailies in advance of seeing them. And those log in rewards will require more to 'buy' in the new system, no doubt. Its not an improvement, it more busy work and its starting to feel like a kitten job and i already have one of those. Yes, i cancelled my pre order. Everything i said is fact, so take your confused emotes elswhere, you may be ok with these changes, i am not.

I may have this wrong, but all of the focus on threads about the wizards vault obviously concentrate on the loss of log in rewards and the new currencies worth, but I had assumed that as acclaim replaces log in rewards and daily chests we could still do 3 dailies and get 2 gold? But...'Gold, Laurels, and Mystic Coins can all be purchased in the Wizard's Vault for completing your daily objectives' This was a response in the vault thread, i honestly didnt register the 'gold' part when i read it at first, so we now have to spend the acclaim we earn to get the gold we used to get? and if we do that we cant have the acclaim to spend on rewards we used to get for logging in or the new ones they are adding?

I did read the blog post, and becauzsed im dyslexic and you were being passive agressive about it, i went back and read it, twice. Sure enough there is the wvw answer, so thanks for pointing to that, but the only place any response to the other question was somewhere in this 18 page thread, so no, i had not seen it, and seeing as the majority or questions on here are the same ones about mystic coins/laurels maybe save your ire for them>? this is a thread literally about people asking about the new changes 😧

I just had a thought or two that worries me a little, seeing as they are changing and mixing up the different types of generic dailies does this mean that players who exclusively get their dailies done (3 for the 2 gold) in wvw or pvp can no longer do so because there wont be 3? Also, i dont see mentioned anywhere if we still in fact get 2 gold for doing dailies? do we only get astral aclaim now? so AA has replaced both generic log in and daily rewards AND gold? thats...not ok

Chest of Black Lion goods gives many more options than the kitten cannisters ( which no one wants) but you knew that...? Maybe, but its not their usual MO to think of things on the sidelines that may be affected by changes

What happens to the Chest of Black Lion goods and being able to access what drops from them? What happens to the account gold find increase at the end of each month? that you automatically got.. Why penalise players with no characters at 80 in terms of accessing daily log in/dailies? Is this all Mighty Teapots fault? 🙄

He has constructively contributed throughout, I think he has several valid points and whats more i agree with him - unless Rubi clarifies if Acclaim (140) buys you equivalent its a nerf, its just one 'reimagining systems to resell them back to the player with somewhat worse outcome for the player' too far for me and i will possibly cancel my pre order aswell. Im a vet player with little time, i do not want to be coerced into grinding, as it is the constant nerfing of rewards when playing is taking the kitten, and also creating more grind ( Gyala)

So, 28 days x 5 astral acclaim = 140 astral acclaim, and can that amount of astral acclaim pay for 20 mystic coins, 35 laurels and 7 mystic clovers which is the amount of rewards for previously logging in? ( if you picked clovers of course)

This is the question that needs answering...

Its going to be a 100% if i understand correctly? yes its been said 'well you can buy them now with currency from doing dailies' but thats not the same as getting them for logging in is it? The only way this isnt a nerf is if you still get something just for logging in, or the dailies choices are much quicker/easier to complete and provide more rewards than you would ususally get for completing them, including items or currency to buy those items, but the latter is still a fudge. Basically we are getting less for adding to their 'people who logged in to play' stats, it didnt matter if you played for long or not, you still got the daily log in and they still got their player logged in stat, now its enforced dailies to get the same rewards?

Well they are completely separate catagories, I am talking about what is a blocking of FULL access to the generic base level dailies, and no i do not think its ok to do that.

If you do not have Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure registered on your account, some rewards will be locked' So, in the current system, you had access to ALL dailies once you hit lvl31 and even if you only had base game GW2 ( or whatever combo of expansions) Now you can only obtain access to all dailies IF you have the current expansion and if you have a character level 80, so essentially this now ties some 'dailies' to an expansion - can someone explain how that is a good thing? because it doesnt seem to be to me? Also log in rewards, the whole point was a reward just for logging in - you are now expected to do dailies to get this reward? or are they getting rid of all the log in rewards ( including laurels) Again, how is this a good thing? for vets and newbies alike? Frequently i would log in just to get the reward and end up doing some stuff in game, now if i am forced into doing dailes im going to start to feel like I'm on a hamster wheel. This is exacatly what someone on here or reddit i canot remember where warned about..im not sure this is making me all that positive about it, but maybe more will come out about it...

well i just did it for the first time today, and i got only bronze and gold - the first day i did it twice, the second and third day i only did it once, how many chests should i have then? because i have 3 bronze,2 silver 3 gold. That is not how i remember it working atall....maybe i just did several a day before and didnt notice, it used to be more popular and you could stay in squads for a while organising efficient gold runs, this year its crickets
