That's because anet does not care about tournament mode as a whole so people don't care about it too, the lack of spectating system (wich they didn't even bother to update with relics in the ui) is a big part of the reason about the alienation of many players from high end pvp content Yesterday Mat wasn't even streamed by teapot, wich was the only reliable source of seeing it, people were spamming in every pvper twitch chat where to find the EU mat. TLDR: anet does not give a kitten about tournament and high end pvp so no one does too

The rewards are indeed more rewarding, i didn't complain about it, i was complaining about the fact that we went from a system that let you chose from a variety of objectives in every single gamemode to one where you have 1/3rd of the choices and you have to decide the gamemode one day in advance, i still can't really decipher their toughts process about such direction, why not just put the old 12 objectives and cap it after 3 or 4 of them are completed? The only possible reason i can think of is that they didn't code it properly and they rushed it in this state (hence why the hotfix with simply +1 daily) but that would be scary about their yearly releases quality control
  3. So have they spelt a single word about the daily system? I keep not enjoying the fact that i have to chose 1 day (or 1 week) in advance the content i will have to play to get my dailies/weekly, it's embarassing to have radio silence on a system that has worsened the QoL of every single player playing the game

To push out an expansion with a core part of it still in beta and not having the option to modify it (i don't believe they didn't foresaw the outcome of the community not liking having 1/3 of the options about the dailies) and being forced to implement an extra free daily just to throw a bone is pretty concerning tbh. Yearly xpacs are going to make the game packed with beta features like the vault
  5. you just can't do it anymore while running in a straight line against people sitting on a node.. stealth is still way superior, you can still stealth + superspeed to gank people busy in fights or simply stealth behind corners or angles where they're less likely to see you coming
  6. So a single new daily has been added. That's asinine lol, what most players complained about is CHOICE not the amount of rewards, i don't care having extra astral i just want to freely choose different options just like it has been for a multitude of years. Give us the choice to decide from the old 12 dailies from both pve-pvp-wvw and set a cap to the daily astral (put random non-astral rewards after the first 5 dailies?) - everybody wins, no reason for this downgrade
  7. scrapper has both 2 stunbreak (if you play with oil) and toolbelt skills provide a cleanse each. since now he's the only oneshotting stealth class he's probably going to become the next problem with pvp but oh well next balance patch is pretty far away so let's get comfy

  9. Just like with the videos you keep resorting to arguments that bring nothing to the topic and has nothing to do with it, like my post history. Yes i complained against prime fa cata, wich was arguably the strongest spec this game has seen. As for vulture stance brought as an invulnerability, it gives you 1 second of evade and a dodge worth of endurance during that invulnerability timeframw, hence why it's listed as invulnerability, maybe you should learn to play the classes instead of defending an op spec wich is probably the only way you got to get outside gold3. Anyway you rangers whiteknights don't really matter in the grand scheme of things, anet is actually decent at recognizing and nerfing broken specs, only problem is that they're slow af, so enjoy your boosted elo while it lasts
  10. kitten arguing with out of context random clips is just a new level of cope for ranger mains. Mesmer do burst a lot, but it's a squishy class that relies only on blink and distorsion as actually strong defensive cd sb on the other hand has: -5 combo finisher for stealth (lmao) -3 skill to make distance (GS #3, S #2/3) -one block (GS #4) -6 stun/daze/immob (smokescale f1, boar f2 f3, GS #5, S#3, WH#5) -2 invulnerabilities (griffon stance, smokescale f2) All of that on dmg coefficents that makes no sense on pretty much every single spell
  11. the OP is a mess and makes little to no sense as a whole thiefs use firework, not antitoxin, if they use SA and antitoxin they hit for low dmg The only class that hits like a truck and has high amount of damage/stealth/mobility is soulbeast tbh
  12. Just give back all the dailies, new system is nonsense and no one likes it. If the problem is that you can get too many points by completing 12 quests just lock them after completing a certain number of quests
  13. Just give back the 12 choices for the daily and make the UI understandable, and booom the wizard's vault becomes from a messy system that forces you to do specific unwanted tasks to an upgrade of dailies

  15. nah man they literally took a system that was in place for more than 6 years and that everyone loved and cut away the best part of it for literally no reason, people are right to be mad about it
  16. Why the kitten would you limit my choice tho? just give me all the 12 dailies for all the gamemodes like it has always been, nobody ever complained about having more choices, there is no reason to start limiting right now and to add options that could cause user-errors

This "expansion" makes no sense, the way the changed the daily makes no sense no matter how you see it, previously we had to complete any of the 3 quest in a set of 4-4-4, now we still have to complete 3 but only in a choice of 3? Why? Who would ever think this makes any sense at all? Also why would you put the choice between Pve ,Wvw and pvp that can be changed only once per day? just always give the option to complete all the pvp, pve and wvw JUST LIKE IT HAS BEEN FOR 5+ YEARS
  18. Worst of all they said yearly release of new expansions. In a few years gw2 will be just as bad as its grindy mmo competitors, too bad that most people play gw2 only because it isn't (wasn't?) a grindy mmo that ignores it's playerbase happiness
  19. nah guys they gotta be bugged, anyone can tell this is a downgrade and that it's just worse than before. I think they are simply bugged, like about 1/3 of the xpac anyway
  20. 2 patches ago cata was SS tier and we even got 5 cata winning mota for trolling, then they nerfed it a bit, and it became A+ tier for a few months, recently they decided to nerf most of the other top meta specs while also doing big buffs to cata, so now cata is is again the only one S tier with an oppressive build. Enjoy this horrendous meta while you can because i assure you it will be absolute chaos after all the new broken builds will pop left and right in the new xpac
  21. You 2k+ post gang must be some kind of circus, after the 2 guys that approve one of the most degenerate meta ever now comes the guy that plays without stunbreak in a meta with classes that average 6 seconds of stun time. Life must be easy in low ranks

You two are the ephitome of forum warriors, i explained my reasons about 10 times and you guys pretty much ignored 95%of what i explained, Azure even answered to a message where i proposed to either change or remove hammer sb from the meta with "So your solution is to just remove spellbreaker from the meta entirely?" Your attempt at hazing people on forum are physically cringing me, have fun with your clearly too much free time
  23. aight guys, i'm outta it, it seems you guys enjoy this meta, my point is simple, i think having a billion of stun and invulnerability is kitten and require little skill to exploit them, you guys seem to enjoy it, have fun. I think however that you guys never even made above let's say gold 3 since no sane person would enjoy playing against 5 non trash players that do exploit in a decent way their class mechanics (e.g. invulnerabilities and stunlock combos) peace out

I just said "you either split their skill from pvp/pve or just nerf them so they are not played" wich quite literally means that EITHER they get reworked OR that they get REMOVED so yeah, idk why i am still answering you since it seems that your main goal here is just to disagree without even reading. Yet again that's my fault in the first place for trying to do something as cursed as trying to discuss on pvp balance on an official mmo forum I want a hybrid meta, where there are stuns, but not every clas has them, pre EoD meta was a perfect example, there were some meta classes with stuns, but none had an average stunlock time of 6 seconds.

No i am not looking at it backwards, if you don't dodge to avoid their regular damage you will die without even being stunned, that's because they are BURSTING CLASSES with STUNLOCK COMBOS on low cd. So yet again i will reiterate it, and if you focus on the uppercase letters you may grasp the point, the problem with this meta is that there are a lot of BURSTING CLASSES wich also possess STUNLOCK COMBOS therefore making it a meta with a lot of STUNLOCK COMBOS, wich are genrally UNFUN Your question about the spellbreaker is fundamentally wrong, specs solely focused on stunlocking you to death simply shouldn't exist, they are not skilled nor fun to play against, you either split their skill from pvp/pve or just nerf them so they are not played
