The issue is within the cheap Amazon Cloud Servers that ANet is using. They keep putting the blame on my ISP provider when this issue has been happening in GW2 for years.
Same problems here.

GW2 uses Amazon Cloud Servers. The same cheap cloud servers SWTOR uses. Unfortunately Support will not help you with this issue. But you might not wanna pay for a VPN and use a free one instead.
What free one?
AWS servers give me 300+ ping from SEA to NA from GW2, where as I only get 140ms using AWS SWTOR servers to Sydney. Maybe Anet needs an AWS server in Sydney for us SEA players as well.

It's really demoralising trying to play a game mode, and face hackers one week after another. I'm not mentioning the server that is doing it, as it appears most of the NA servers are doing it now. If you want players to quit WvW, this is one way of going about it.
Desert has been a hacker's paradise since it was introduced to this game mode. Just delete it and put in another alpine.

I joke, of course. But I would really like to know why this has happened. Is there some exploit that was being used? I'm not aware of any myself. I suppose there are some missing animation frames, which has always annoyed me. The Shadow Warrior combat tonic has most of the animations from the human rig, even the newer emotes have carried over and yet I cannot /heroic or /hiss as Ankka. Very upsetting.I would like to know why my fun has been taken away and if I can have it back, please.
It is simply amazing how they have to time screw around with nerfing a tonic, but not WvW restructuring.

My golem is gone, my heal on kill vamp rune is gone. They could have waited until they had all the rune affects done before taking them away and giving me NADA. Nothing. Thanks for you money, Now we take what you already had! Pfft

It does, this type of info ruined WoW IMHO. I met a guy in WvW who was watching his spreadsheet critiqing every key you press. Left that guild. Anet needs to fix this.

In WvW, most players first 10 hours probably consist of getting run over by zergs, encountering cheese pvp builds, general confusion of where the commander is doing, PvD, and dying to tier 1 camps. It creates a situation so toxic that players often feel they don't want to come back.
Did you "Talk" to the guide upon entering the WvW borderland?
