I'm also having the same issue, especially in intense fights. Big slowdowns. Had been using DX11 for a long time but since the recent update things have gotten worse and erratic.

Very much like your ideas, it would make fishing a lot more involved and not have its usefulness decimated at the whims of a single meta event, or the demand for some legendaries. They could do a lot with this.

Just thought i'd make another suggestion. Most activities in this game earns you different items that make up your income, but not so much with fishing. Why not diversify the items you get from fishing so that fishing is not entirely at the mercy of ambergris market price? A simple tweak could be to increase the droprate of the 1 gold trophies you sometimes get. But obviously that'd be very low effort, seeing something more elaborate would be nicer. Also like to see them fix losing the fishing party stacking buff on forced map closure, but there's plenty threads on that.

Didn't even care to touch Mirage? It's terrible in wvw. Give it's two dodges back like you did with Vindicator. Nobody likes to play with one single dodge, it's the worst idea ever.
