Every time before the match starts, I'm telling my team that go AFK when it sucks and gets slaughtered like pigs. I'm here to win and climbing up the ladder. If my team sucks, this isn't possible. Then why should I even trying.

In case of gameplay value... imo, adding new races, would bring back a lot of players. Tengu for example are very popular. They even have their own starting area in the game (Dominion of Winds) yet. So why do they resist adding them finally to the game? And adding something new and most wanted to the game is always a high value.

I really don't get it, why it seems so hard for Arena.net to add more races. GW2 is 10 years old and we still stick with the old 5 races. Arena.net isn't a small indie developer and never was. They get a huge amount of money because of that gem shop, and GW2 has a huge population, constantly. This game is doing well, so "We don't have enough money and capicity to realise new races." is just kitten. And if their team is really that small, then just hire some new team members. Just as simple. With their size, limited money isn't a thing.

As long as it isn't possible to leave a kittened up match without Alt+F4, I'll stay afk. No matter what.

It's about the first impression. If my whole team gets slaughtered like pigs in the first/early mid fight and it turns into a hopeless situation, then why even trying? This match is lost anyway. Exceptions prove the rule of course.

As long as my "team" mates suck in such different ways, I won't stop being AFK. It's RATED, not just a training ground for newbies. Running alone into a group of enemies. Always fighting outside the nodes. Rather chasing other players than capturing the points, because that's why we're losing this match. I mean how stupid is that, playing punching bag for the enemies.

There's only one character I'd like to see again... Tybalt. 😭

Yeah... It's also not OK when in rated team members playing like bricks, ignoring the simpliest mechanics (capturing points ect.) and dropping dead like flies over and over again. So what shall I do in this situation? Keep on playing punching bag? I don't want to.

Look, since there isn't a leave-arena-button, AFK is the best thing you can do in this situation, if you wanna calm down your nerves. While waiting till the nightmare is over, you can do many other things.

ArenaNet can't even balance PvP with 2 teams...

...and there's nothing wrong about it, when - my team is full of ignorant people not knowing how the objectives of a bg/arena work and queuing for rated instead of unrated. - my team play like they are soulless and botlike puppets. - they rather fight in the middle of nowhere than caring about capping the points/nodes. - it's a hopeless match and we'll lose anyway. So if my team doesn't care, so why should I? Why should I play punching bag for the enemy team? I rather standing AFK in my base and wait till the nightmare is over asap.
