  1. New top stat:
"most deaths"  why? easier to do dailies, in long run more new players and hopefully people will learn?
in ranked matches it will show who was the worst player, so people try to be better in long run, like actually learn? 😄
also showing everybody contripution to match will surely help, atleast in ranked matches, unranked matches dont really care its for practicing class and testing stuff...
Either way if people are toxic they get blocked and maybe anet does stuff with toxic people .... if they dont people will probably leave in long run.

This is just a random thought that came to mind and was interested to know what other players thought of this. Imagine making your own house, this game likes to grind a lot, but feels like it's missing that area as many other games have been going into that trend, even Neopets had its own home that you could create back in the day. I am aware guilds can build their hall but this is solely on your character's home.

Collecting material turning into something you want in your space like wall decorations or furniture. Or even when Prime Amazon does special giveaways you can get that one-off item you can put in your own space. And you can invite your friends to your base and play around in there maybe add-on gaming activities you can place at your base. I feel this could be a nice touch to add to the game maybe even end-game.

Other games that do this is genshin impact, Warframe, Palia, Outlast Trials,  Zenith MMO....  These are all different types of styled games that lead to creating your own space.

Question what are guilds for in Guild wars2?  because almost every player has their own guild XD

    1. The negative effect: When a player is AFK the match is not void, those on the winning side gain a free rank increase, and vice versa for the losing team. This can objectively be considered unfair.

    2. Why would an AFK player care? Everyone except the AFK player is affected by this, which is the majority in a match. My suggestion is that AFK player (whether they care or not) should face a penalty for going AFK. I have detailed my thoughts on this on the OP above.

    3. Being AFK outside of the spawn safe zone is almost always done on purpose, by players who quit the match for any reason, at any point in time after the match starts. My hope is that by applying Penalty to those who stay in the safe zone; that moving forwards there are less ranked matches in which players are negatively impacted by AFK players.

This is a good topic to consider: once a player goes AFK in the middle of a match and is outside the safe zone, what should happen? To me things become less objective and trickier to enforce. Up for debate for sure, I have a few ideas.

Question if afk person gets some top scored at end results ? does it counts as AFK

  4. a lot of people queueing with 0 to little experience
    matches are a lot shorter
somewhat a lot of anger because of "losing streaks"
everything , you either burst down , or you get bursted
if they cant kill you , they accuse you of hacking , cause in pve they are doing like 40k deeps
    a lot of disconnects
following 1 player and  5 players at 1 capture point and they cant take it
usually no roamers anymore cause thieves just go with team and fight as team players
matches queue a lot faster , overall great event much fun : setting up premade teams -

Real afk will get detected and be rewarded with dishonour.

But most players not actively participating you see have given up on the match for various reasons. They are probably still near their keyboards, maybe walking around a little to avoid AFK detection. Some players like to comment on the match, team composition, team members instead of playing.

Benefits are taking rank points without effort, avoiding dishonor for leaving the match and the psychological benefit of no longer investing in a match that they do not feel worth investing effort in and in some cases wanting to punish team members for not playing as the players likes.

In short, some players can't stand losing yet play a gametype that has roughly a 50% chance of losing.

So you suggest if enemy team has 400 already and we stuck at 200 best is just going afk ??
