  1. You seem to be under the impression that playing solo is not common. How much of your play time is done with an organized group I wonder.

  3. You are entitled to you opinions, no matter how illogical they are. Just please don't try to tell me they are factual when they objectively aren't. I also find it funny how your retort to my argument was "this is an argument?", as if to imply you need no rebuttal. And this attitude of "we don't get patches so let's give up" while being on the forum arguing over issues is oxymoron at best. It really amazes me how little self awareness you are showing. Not only are your arguments non existent, but you even say that you don't care about the mode you are arguing over. You just outed yourself as a contrarian, and nobody likes this kind of attitude. Again, your whole argument is assuming that the 3v3 mode is by default made solely for premade teams. You need to prove that in order for your argument to have a leg to stand on. And you can't do that because the reality is; it's not made solely for premade teams (because you can solo Q). Not only that, but if that was the case, then it would be a dead mode. My argument has always been to make the mode fair, whether that is to remove solo Q, or remove premades. The only reason I lean towards removing premades is because most players play these modes as solo players. It's just logical to go with the majority here.
  4. If 3v3 and 2v2 aren't made for solo players, then why can you solo queue into it? Your logic of "it wasn't made for solo" falls apart the moment someone thinks about the reality of the mode. And the reason you are unable to convince me is because your arguments make no sense. Stop blaming others for not getting your points if your points are shite.

  6. I don't understand how you can't see that there is already a mode for premade teams. Yet you seem determined to explain how every game mode with a team should be premades only. That's how you come across.
  7. You are talking about win trading, of which is not relevant to the topic at hand. You know you can always play unranked if you want to play with friends. I really find it odd how people can defend trio queuing in a mode that primarily has solo players in it.

  9. You know what competitive integrity means right? It's not about me having a disadvantage by playing solo. It's about those who don't play solo getting an advantage. There will always be solo players, and If I teamed up I would get that advantage too, but guess what? That still means there is a lack of competitive integrity. I don't want to artificially increase my rank, and by that some notion I don't want to be at a disadvantage when I do play against premade teams. I really don't see how that is hard to understand. But apparently people on the forums project motive for some reason.
  10. Then remove solo Q and see what happens to the game mode. Unfortunately your argument in not valid because the mode requires solo players for it to not die in a fire. And let me throw your own BS logic back in your face; If you want to play as a premade team, don't play a mode that lets players solo. Go play tournaments.
  11. I have the same issue. Maybe it has something to do with not owning the pet, but having it (and naming it) in PvP? Really silly bug tbh and it's still not fixed.

  13. That just sounds like you didn't consider the point I made, and now instead of saying that you didn't consider that, you are hiding behind vague statements.
  14. Still no fix for the mechanist Overclock Signet and Shift Signet? I'm disappointed. For those unaware, the worst offending bug is that Overlock Signet goes on cooldown the moment the skill is pressed, this means if the mech is not able to cast the skill (or the mech is in the death animation) neither of the effects of Overclock will work. Usually when a skill is interrupted (before channelling begins) the skill goes on a 3 second cooldown, this also doesn't happen to Overclock, you simply lose the skill on mech interruption (again, before it begins its channel). As for the Shift Signet, if you are stunned as the Signet is cast, you will not be teleported to your location (but your mech will be) and the skill goes on cooldown. Additionally, Shift Signet can't be used to teleport to stairs (particularly the ones in WvW), even with both a viable path and line of sight.
  15. What do you mean "based on speculation"? Most matches without an MMR system in place will be even worse than they are now (and it's bad now because of low pop). That isn't speculation, it's a fact.
  16. Except that a pure LFG PvP experience will kill PvP. Why? Because people tend not to regroup with players they think are bad (regardless of whether they are correct or not). This also destroys any hope for a MMR rating. The MMR is bad now, but imagine being placed as a bronze player against the top 20 players. The solution of LFG match making doesn't work here, nor does it make sense. LFG is just a worse system the moment you consider player skill balance.
  17. What are you talking about? If you remove match making, you still end up playing with 4 other random people. The only difference is you now have to open up LFG. MM needs to be improved, but really the main issue with it is the lack of players. And the only ways to encourage more players to play PvP is both rewards and ease of access (which includes lowering the skill floor (not getting one shot because you didn't recognise one of the many of skills that do so)).
  18. It's very easy to trigger full counter because it's instant, you can't react in time to stow your weapon if the sb uses full counter as an attack lands. This means the suggested change isn't a "counterplay" for players playing against it. The problem is much deeper than SBs imo. PvP overall is just really badly designed due to how much powercreep has been introduced to the game. Things aren't clear enough, players die WAY to fast (making active defences the only way to be tanky), and there aren't enough players that play PvP so you often end up matched with players either way higher or way lower rated.

Hence why I implied you're here only for an unproductive argument, rather than for a conversation of the topic at hand. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the impression you are giving me.

  21. Yeah, pretty much. League goes in the total opposite direction, which is equally as bad at times.
