  1. Personally (and it's been a gripe of mine for a while), I'd love it if they finished all or at least most "themed" sets. Some of them are almost complete, with only one or two skins left. ANet really underestimates the potential purchasing power of matchy-matchy.
  2. You can ALWAYS just treat WvW as PvE by doing nothing more than flipping camps while listening to [your favourite podcast or radio show here]. I do that and I barely even see any players from the other teams. And if there is someone particularly intent on killing me, I just let them. I mean, we both know how this will go so why struggle? I'll just jump on the other Alpine map and flip camps there, no big deal. Honestly, lots of PvE players complaining about this don't understand just how easy it is to get through a reward track (and pick up some other loot in the process) while using up LESS ENERGY than it'd take in PvE. Flipping camps in WvW is about as chill as this game gets. I've developed a habit of using WvW to unlock elite specs as well, in cases when I don't want to have my new chars go to Maguuma ahead of the story.
  3. Positive feedback: you're not really describing any bugs.
  4. None of these are "quality of life", you're just asking for buffs.
  5. I wish there were more AFKers, then maybe I'd get the additional contribution reward more often than once in a hundred attempts! 😉
  6. The gunsaber is not an item, it's a specialization feature. As soon as you equip the Bladesworn spec (assuming you have started training it), it will be your second weapon set.
  7. Sure you don't have a stack of them in shared inventory slots?
  8. Stockholm Syndrome. ... And lack of p2w or monthly fee, I suppose.
  9. I suspect it's the dead horse about activities (such as Keg Brawl) showing up even if you only do PvE dailies (as they have always done even before WV), time to beat it again. The answer is always the same: it's the easiest thing you can ever get by doing absolutely nothing. You don't have to engage with any PvP content in Activities. Stand around and pick your nose for 5 minutes and get your AA.
  10. I personally get them mostly from Awakened raids on core maps. It's also a good way to farm Awakened and/or Veteran kills when they're a weekly (and to quickly get 3 daily champ kills for those festival achievos). https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Defeat_the_invading_Awakened
  11. Have you not learned anything from this thread? Stop entertaining the troll.
  12. Play a single-player game maybe? There's loads of them. People joining events are welcomed 99% of the time, it was one of the selling points of GW2 that you're barely ever unhappy to see another player in the open world.
  13. Oh hey, it's back with a discount, huh. Not convinced that my request helped but thanks either way.
  14. Oddly enough, having made and unlocked both Twilight and Sunrise skins, I then made Eternity and sold it BEFORE the Armory was a thing. So now I have the legendary skins but not the weapons in the armory, lol. ...I dunno why I felt the need to share that.
  15. It's one of the easiest dailies where you don't have to do anything if you don't want to (other than move your char an inch if the kick message pops up). It's essentially free AA. Why would you want it gone?
  16. Axe's main advantage is being a ranged weapon that isn't shooting projectiles and is therefore immune to projectile hate. I certainly wouldn't want to trade that for what you're suggesting. Unless dual swords work the same way. I wouldn't know cause I haven't touched the beta.
  17. Not that I believe this ever works but I'd like Butler Outfit back for my new character.
  18. If I got thrown by an axe in my own face, I'd feel very confused.
  19. Nope. I was surprised that beta was even available to me considering that I don't own SotO and none of this stuff will be available to me once it's implemented. It'd be an actual literal waste of my time for me to participate in this beta so it was the easiest decision ever not to bother. EDIT: What's with the confused reactions here? This isn't even a controversial take. Why would I beta test something for Anet when it'll be literally impossible for me to enjoy those new weapons once they're fully out? These new proficiencies are a SotO feature, I don't get to have them.
  20. You can already do this for Blood Ruby trinkets but you have to buy a reset item from a vendor in Bloodstone Fen. Other than that, I dunno. This change would make legendary trinkets less valuable so I'm not sure they'd go for that.
  21. Again, this MP becomes active when you do the Dragon Response Mission in the instanced area as part of the story.
  22. There's just one question one needs to consider when deciding if something is "pay to win": "Does this thing give an advantage over other players who haven't bought this thing?" And ultimately, it doesn't. If they started selling gear with stats better than ascended, then we'd have a real problem. The only negative impact I see here is that some of the HoT HPs (Mushroom Queen, Avatar of Balthazar) are rather difficult even in groups, and they'll be even more tricky to organize people for after this. But then again, you can just go WvW and unlock this stuff without doing it already. Other than that little caveat, it's no different from Level 80 boosts.
  23. Only on challenge mode which I haven't done because I suck. Mordremoth hits like a feather.
  24. Again, I am awful. I am a skill-clicker. I'm old. I have terrible reaction times. When I say it's easy, it's easy unless you have a disability.
