  1. Since it's gonna be my first gear it would be nice to have possibility farm first activies like dungs/strikes/fractals but also being viable to do activities in open world (dunno if that's possible) I am not gonna focus right now on PvP but in future for sure, first still a lot of content to explore and finish so let's focus on PvE side right now. I have seen some metabattle guides, builds but it's hard to find alternatives given there for gear (most of them shows top gear like ascended or legendaries...) No Elite specs unlocked yet, just raw, 80 lvl thief (I got all 3 expansions bought just need to progress) I always was into rogue things and really enjoy dagger/dagger, spectre gameplay look good also, some kind of martial arts, karate kid (lol). I was thinking about gear that I can buy and here is what I figured out via looking videos, guides, people advices but still misses some kind of info: Gear pieces: Nika's: https://imgur.com/a/DQFHg56 Daggers: Usoku's Needle x2 https://imgur.com/OoEIuWS Back -No idea Accessory, Rings, Amulet - No idea Second weapon - Bow or Pistol 2nd alternative Scepter build? I still do not know much about this except some short gameplays.
  2. For example game with drops on and potentially similiar playerbase (I do not want mention name of games) has right now between 5-10k (depends which game) Without christmas day it's between 500-800 ppl.
  3. Right now there is only 296 viewers overall watching Guild Wars 2 streams. For example game with drops on and potentially similiar playerbase (I do not want mention name of games) has right now between 5-10k (depends which game) First of all - I am not streamer, just New player that joined world of Guild Wars 2 week ago. I wonder why ArenaNet so, ultra, very, very rarely uses this form of promotion? All in all, I'm a little surprised by the publisher's passivity compared to what I've seen or am seeing in other MMOs and how publishers try to catch the attention of potential "customers". In other games, MMO Twitch Drops take place once a month and here as people told me Twitch drops happens very rare? Especially during Christmas time? This is probably one of the best ways to boost the game's "viewership" stats and position it higher in the MMO category on twitch - let's leave aside the fact that a lot of people are "watching" the stream in the background, but still positioning the game higher on the list may be of interest to new or old players who used to play..
  4. I do not want to bore and prolong the topic here. Maybe I am not GW2 veteran but MMO veteran for sure. I've been playing Guild Wars 2 for 3 days, currently lvl 44. Yesterday I took advantage of a promotion and bought 3 expansions. In my head I had only this but after logging in to the gam, ArenaNet started tempting me with an 80 lvl boost - two pieces! After a brief discussion with veterans, I have decided not to use boosts for the moment and manually level my main. Rather, I don't need to list to you the reasons strictly related to the game - you know them. From a psychological point of view, however, something that comes easily to us is not appreciated and loses its 'magic'. I'll admit that a few times I've been tempted to use this on my Thief, which will be my main, but I always thought back to games where when I got something for free, or often for free - I didn't appreciate it and the sense of character development (quintessential MMO) disappeared somewhere I quickly got burnt out. Of course, boosts are a very cool gesture, but I think it would be better to have the option to use them on a new account only after we have manually leveled at least one character..
