  1. I don't agree with completely removing hidden tags. The squad UI is better than the party UI. It allows you to check supply faster. Sometimes even for roaming with 5 people I see myself turning the party into a hidden tag squad. While I agree that having large scale zergs with hidden tag is not desirable, I don't like to be forced to show a public tag when roaming with a few friends. IMO 10 players is a good limite for a hidden tag.

  3. This was a terrible change. The rank armor was not a barrier since people could do the legendary with the non-rank ascended one. They are literally just removing the value of a skin by making it way easier to obtain. It is the equivalent to let people get raid legendary armor through dungeons or cutting the LI requirement by 75%.
  4. I've decided to go SA-Trickery-DA with traillblazer gear. Between krait, udead, thorns and scavenging, which runes would you recommend ?

  6. Hi,1) Is there any viable condi build for wvw roaming/dueling nowadays? Was thinking in something heavy on stealth and traillblazer gear. Anything similar to pd perplexity thief of years ago? 2) Is there any viable full cele sustain build?
  7. If you are flipping an objetive, as long as you stay inside the flipping ring you will get credit. If you do dmg to a guard that died you also will get credit for the capture. As for killing players and guards, as long as you tag them you should be able to get credit. Doesn't matter if you did 20k dps or 500, you will get the same exp from killing a player/guard. Tagging is more important than the dps. A very low dmg aoe skill can get you more kill credits than a single target 30k one shot.

In the patch notes they didn't specifically mention that it would be only for spvp. They also say "All splits are for both PvP and WvW (and not PvE) unless noted otherwise." Did they forget to change it or is it intended?

  11. They probably gather data from pvp, wvw, spvp. Most used classes, builds, weapons, stats, combinations, skills, etc. Seems unreasonable that they would be taking directions without any metrics supporting. Saying "we feel ..." in patch notes is ok. We are not expecting them to write a thesis explaining the technical details that lead to the change. That said, not everything can be measured. They probably also account for players feedback, fun, etc....
  12. Offensive stats tend to be better than defensive ones, but that does not mean defensive stats are useless. Right now condi users can go Traillblaser stats having all condi offensive stats + some defensive ones. For power users there is no stat combination that gives all direct dmg offensive stats + toughness+vit. Also, in zergs most people rely in aoe cleansing coming from other players such as minstrel FB. In small scale condi becomes way deadlier since most havock/roaming groups don't have pocket healers around.
  13. They also said that it was impossible to have 2 currencies showing up in the inventory, but they have just implemented this last update. Everything is possible, it is just a matter of effort. I think the complete opposite.
  14. Haha, you call fullcounter difference minimal? In gh it hits for 10k+ and has around 6s cd, while in wvw it hits for like 2k and has 12cdThief interrupt skill in gh hits for 4k everytime he interrupts, in wvw its around 2k. Just to name 2 real big offenders off the top of my head. There are plenty more.Whoever unironically duells in the gh is a kitten. Just go into a custom pvp arena, there are plenty empty ones that are free to use by anyone. The guild hall (pve) still is more similar to wvw than spvp is. For a guild that mostly only plays wvw, the spvp maps are useless. Spvp is super clun
