  1. Its true, this games engine is just horse, its not "Just saying so", it is a straight up fact, you can check my posts from earlier this year about micro stutters, still to this day, it has not been fixed 🙂
  2. Since theres been quite some posts regarding "SOTO" i decided to make another post about the current state of 'Everything' so far. | Even before SOTO there were major issues regarding the DX11 update which decreased performance for alot of players including myself, from Glitching, Textures being blacked out or not visible at all, lagging, ping issues, stuttering. | With SOTO the performance decreased even more so with the fact of reused assets that didn't seem to work well with DX11 before except now the reused assets are all scattered around the new map waiting for the next player to come by and give performance issues. | From my personal view on performance, before the DX11 went live ive had stuttering issues that happened over time like it was some memory leak internally with GW2 (Early February /w WvW Update). | The new vault system which on paper looks nice, but executed like a wet noodle in practice. | SOTO Content is as expected a (NOT) Full release as ANET provided us earlier this year with the Gyala Delve update, slower development with better QoL, which i cant see they have kept the QoL in mind but they have kept their (Slow) promise since almost all if not everything is made with reused assets from previous expansion. I cannot support this, and before people start to complain that its only 25$, yes its (Only) 25 which you could be spending elsewhere other than this reused mess. | One thing is do like is the skyscale acquisition for newer players, and it seems this (LWSOTO) patch is heavily made for newer casual players which is a good thing.
  3. Soto runs even worse then EoD, the old engine cant keep up with the amount of rendering there is to do, yet they keep adding kitten into the game, calling this an expansion is being on a heavy dose of copium (overdosed); It is and feels like a LW release except its made with a majority of reused assets, i enjoy GW2 but ive also enjoyed other MMO's and you gotta speak out on the amount of crap companies are pulling, and no this is not a doomsday post but the game is just declining heavily at this rate, DX11 issues still floating around since early February where it introduced stuttering on mid/high-end pcs aint good with a new release. Now i don't mean to say that you cannot be positive about the game, you sure can, but when theres 3 positive things compared to 17 negatives it really shows theres big problems. Theres my 2 cents ❤️
  4. Wow Player: First Time? Its finally here, the last breath of copium.
  5. @Furail.9257 @Blur.3465 This has been an ongoing problem for me and others since early February 2023 with the WvW update, never has it been fixed or acknowledged by anet, game starts stuttering after 2-4 hours of playing, like its a build-up from something, thing to mention is that whenever the game stuttered, my windows stuttered in sync with the game, looking like a memory leak of some sorts hence why the build up. Only thing i can reccomend is to stop playing and find something else since anet does not care about you as a individual. Also a 3060 ti runner here with a i7-12700k 32gbs @3600mhz Have a good one!
  6. @Demeth.5816 I have no clue what they messed up, what i do know is that Anet does not acknowledge it and do not care so thats all i do have for you, i decided to move on from gw2 since its still there without a single feeling of care from the devs side of it.
  7. @Demeth.5816 I know your pain, this has been a ongoing issue since early february for me, read my posts about it, still has not been fixed, after 2 hours the game starts to show signs of microstuttering with everything you do, from running, mount movement, combat, its a engine issue with DX11, never had any issues before February, Tried everything there is and stopped giving a kitten about the game, also tried contacting support which just got reanswered by a bot with GW2 does not support W11, so i tried W10 same kitten different day 🙂
  8. Have they fixed this issue yet? The microstutters after playing for a couple hours?
  9. I'm on windows 11, tried 10 aswell, same issues, nvidia user here, its the game, having 0 issues in more demanding games so its GW2 being in a alpha playtest 😂
  10. Its the game, ive taken a break from it as its in a unplayable state for me, tried checking in with support tickets and thats also a complete dead end, will check the games state in a few months from now. Very frustrating when every other game runs fine except GW2, after almost 2 months of this and not even seeing a post from anet investigating this just shows how far behind they really are.
  11. Its not paging, something else is going on with anet, it would be nice of them to acknowledge that atleast something is currently wrong, been having this issue for a bit longer then a month and still nothing. not being the only one helps but this just makes me want to quit the game for good, didnt buy a better pc for a more worse experience ofcourse. If they come out with its problems with DX11 okay i can wait, or coherent ui doing this sure, but not getting anything from the Devs while after pretty much everything ive checked on my end is just pain.
  12. I did some further testing (ram related): - Upgraded RAM from 16GB > 32GB @ 3600Mhz Difference i noticed from upgrading: - It takes a while longer for the game to become choppy, but as i looked in Resource Monitor & Task Manager, the game uses alot of RAM Usage, and the commited ram goes up but never gives back. Image 1 (After 5 hours of playing): https://ibb.co/TtZz4qC Image 2 (After 5.5 hours of playing while sitting in LA): https://ibb.co/ZXrrgHB Image 3 (After restarting the game): https://ibb.co/6sp9B2c Noticable is indeed coherent UI going up limitlessly, but the game reaching up to 4.5GB towards 5GB is a bit nuts for me.
  13. @Chaba.5410tried, didnt resolve the issue. The fact that after everything i did to resolve it on my end, from software, to hardware, its nuts. Anet needs to be ontop of this, its driving me nuts. Also tried decreasing mouse polling rate, didnt do batcrap. Also for extra safety measures, did a stresstest for both GPU & CPU, GPU Hits max 71C, CPU 81C, thats under FULL load, In GW2 i barely hit 55c on the CPU, and 70C on GPU, now after reinstalling Windows OS twice, checked internet connection too aswell as resetting the router, contacting the ISP for maybe packet losses, nothings up on my end, i want to hear something from anets end this time.
  14. Okay my last bit here, i was on windows 11, i reainstalled window 11 and no avail, now i did a fresh install of windows 10, which is supported and compatible, and its still the same, its a kitten game issue here, my lord
  15. To add on top of this, just figured it out, whenever the game starts to lag, my windows lags with it, its like the lag is in sync??? wtf?
  16. @SoftFootpaws.9134true, but ive spoken to people on windows 11,10,7 versions with the same issue i described above, ive been on w11 since last year may, never had issuee until 3 weeks ago up until now. We know everything is poorly optimized and this is the result of many things people are complaining about, but im glad you gave me a answer on coherantui.
  17. So as the title suggests, ive been experiencing these microlags throughout the past 3 weeks, ive finally found out it happens after 2 to 3 hours or more of playing and the microlag will stay there till a game restart, what is going on anet and why is this happening? - checked temps, all were good for both CPU & GPU - Disabled turbo boost in BIOS - Did a fresh install of windows 11 - Updated drivers, reverted to old drivers - Checked internet connection + resetted the router for safety - Checked for external hardware problems, keyboard & mouse no issues - Checked for memory issues, no issues, all healthy and passed through tests - Tried swapping USB ports - Lowered mouse polling rate - Played with alot of the settings around ingame And theres much more ive tried that i could write down here but that would be a complete essay. Ive seen other posts on the forum of all sorts of problem as of late patch, but this has been a problem for me since the WvW update, it happens everywhere i go after longer playtimes. Opening a ticket is completely useless since anet cant even find anything wrong with my pc, its on anets side this time, either Engine Related, DX11 related, or Servers related.
  18. @Chaba.5410hey! Yeah ive kept an eye on that, and other things too, weirdly enough, temperatures are always normal no throttling, cpu usage barely hit 30%, gpu sits between 28% - 50%, drivers are up to date, its just weird, the game runs super smooth for the first 2 hours, then lagspikes start to join in permanently after that, until i restart the game
  19. Okay, so after all the testing, its actually something with a memory leak from the game, very noticable, first 2 hours are fine, then the game becomes more choppy the longer you play, i checked everything, temps are always fine, did a memory health test, i pretty much did everything i could, its certain theres another memory problem in the game, hoorah!
  20. @Chaba.5410yeah i turned it off, now i dont experience problems anymore ^^
  21. Okay so ive tried something and maybe it could help, so theres something called Memory Core Isolation in windows security which affects performance by alot (admitted by microsoft themselves) try turning that off and maybe it could help :3
  22. Heya! Im not so sure if im having the issue aswell but after playing for 1 or 2 hours, my game begins to start lagging out of nowhere and its permament until i restart the game, is this caused by a memory leak?
  23. I dont suffer from crashes, im currently suffering from stuttering that follows with a animation playback compensation after longer playtimes, its abysmal, started experiencing this since 2 weeks ago
