How do you think, axe skills will be melee or ranged?

cVirt is not good for high ping... If thief - then maybe try condi specter Best class for high ping - Mechanist. You can do all 3 button j-drive on autoattack, full seal, and only press weapon skills - pistol/pistol for condi or rifle for power build...

If only for OW, then after Mechanist only celestial Mirage staff/staff - very easy and unkillable) only press dodge and swap weapon, and few buttons)

Mirage S/S solo OW build very strong now with good dps - 15k I kill easy champs and havn't see any problem;) stronger only cele vindicator) and power bladesworn

Mesmer! Mirage S/S - tanky 15k solo dps - can do solo bounties) Celestial mirage very good for wvw roaming Power and condy virtuoso - for strikes, raoids and fractals Chronobunker - for spvp

You can do autoattack on F1-F3 like 1 skill ) Mechanist most nobrain prof ))

Vindicator (revenant) - power greatsword and heavy armor ) If go to condi vindicator with mace and axe - then be immortal in solo open world in this patch)

Condi Vindicator is immortal in this patch for solo pve content) see on youtube "lord Hizen". Also good for solo mirage and mechanist.
