  1. Yep, that's the part where you're supposed to fight a bit then run. Read what the NPCs are saying, they tell you to leave and close the door while they hold on.
  2. Wouldn't that be the part of the mission where it says "RUN AWAY !!" and endless waves of ennemies keep coming until you actually run away deeper inside the Fort ? Provide more details ty. Everything in that first part of the story (Zaithan storyline) can be done solo (except the very last mission/dungeon), and it was made before Reaper even existed.

  4. A bit of a late reply but : Nice strawhat but I never said it was hard. Judging by that old video (I have no clue what you're tying to show off with it btw) you can do it without making a whining thread on forums, so keep going. Imagine being rewarded for playing a multiplayer game with the other players right ? 🥸

Yes a lonely player won't be able to fully strip a whole group of people (it used to be possible at Scourge release and it was hella broken). 20 people playing together, using classes that completes each other and coordinating on vocal is better than 20 guys doing their own stuff. Sounds legit to me. But imagine if multiple players understanding how the game works would do it kinda at the same time and bomb strip wherever the enemy squad stands. WSR and FoW players do that all the time, they cloud around enemy "boonball" squads, they harass them from all sides, and eventually they break them/make them run away. I don't get what you mean by "more access to pulls". Mesmer pull has always been there and its range has been reduced some months ago. Dh pull has also been there since the spec exists and the class isnt really meta nowadays. Firebrand pull has also not changed. The only new thing since Soto is that Scourge can now equip gs like Reaper and use skill 5 for 900 range pull. In another thread, people were complaining about pulls being "a toxic mechanic". Time to learn how it works to better avoid/use it 🤓

Among all the people whining in here I wonder how many play builds that actually strips + use pulls and cc instead of just spamming ranged projectiles/longbow 5/meteor shower/necro staff spells from the top of their wall. Most "boonball" squads support players are half asleep, barely bothering to heal up their teammates when they stand in front of a door. 4 arrow carts and a canon or two is enough to put them in trouble, yet some dude above mentionned boonball being able to easily tank "dozens of siege fire" 😵‍💫 Thanks for the laugh man. I see there are still some people coping about Ele in 2023. Hvindi will heal way much more and block projectiles all day with ventari tablet. The only thing Tempest does better is cleansing condis, which isn't really an issue when you get perma resistance (no one will die from your tiny 5 stacks of bleeding, but they will die to being immob alone in the back while the squad advances). Also, unfortunately, most tempest players don't even run the rez glyph. Nowadays we got this thing called Scourge support that will also port the downed back to the flock, multiple ones instead of 1, with much shorter cd (and put a LOT of barrier, and alac, and power, and a bit of aegis, and strip the ennemies,...). But ye, Tempest is the issue 🫠
  7. Oh god. No the whole server won't lag at the same time. Only the people in the area where big fights happen (inside a keep for example). It's been a common things for years, and getting worse recently : your 50 ppl squad fights another 50 ppl squad on reset, all good, then the squad from the 3rd server gets nearby (they don't even need to join the fight, just stand at a certain distance) and the 2 fighting squads start having huge skill-lag. You can even guess if another group is about to join the fight, and potentially push you by surprise, due to that. Nowadays you don't even need a 3rd squad, a hundred players fighting in a keep is enough. You can argue all you want, but if literally a hundred players, all with different specs/location/internet provider get the same issue at the same time it's safe to say upgrading your CPU won't fix it ^^

So you are saying that a bunch of NA servers guilds (afaik it's not a trend on EU servers atm) decided to play this "Rise meta" again, like some years ago, but this time it's not because Death nova is busted but just for the sake of creating lags that affect everyone including Rise users ? Nah, they surely wouldn't be dumb enough to do that 🤡
  9. FSP getting all that money. Can all those rich people send some gold to AR as well ? Also yes, just ban entire servers so even the people who are on holidays get punished, sounds smart. Deleting a whole tier would solve the issue of underpopulated servers while we're at it.
  10. It's not AG it's AR. And FSP is trying their best to not go in t5 right as we speak. AR as well. May end up in a perfectly equal score like last week, unlucky for UW ppters.
  11. What kind of mental gymnastic did you just achieve to spit out that whole "Toxic Philosophy" copypasta to justify your unability to dodge/breakstun a pull ? Learn the mechanics of the game instead of asking for the removal of anything you don't understand. This whole thread has a strong smell of meteor shower Eles and Longbow rangers enthusiasts being angry cause they can't free cast on a blob of players without being pulled off the wall. But thats exactly what pulls are for, to catch the players trying to freecast from 1200+ range without any retaliation. As it's been mentionned already, if you don't like pulls you can : - open your eyes - realise that if you have the range to hit the enemy, they also do - go on mount / dodge away / put stability / put aegis / use a block or invul skill / breakstun if you're getting pulled (can be done even during the pull but better bind your keys, if you mouseclick on your breakstun it's gonna be too late) And repeating this in case you missed the memo : the main pull you're all complaining about, the mesmer focus one, has just been nerfed in range 2 weeks ago. All the other pulls require a line of sight (except firebrand f1-3) so you'll be fine as long as you're not on the edge of the wall.

Well you can keep telling yourself that, but it seems you don't understand your own words sir. Also the initial post here was about deleting/reducing the rewards for people who spend their days hugging sm outer walls to repair it. This is not about completely deleting the rewards, as you're implying. Imo Devs don't even try. If they're scared of the few dozen goons coming here everyday to complain (which I hope is false), then WvW is even more doomed than I thought. Bonus : if you expect me to not troll or to be polite with someone like you, well, "I'm going to need you to do 2 things : shut up mind your own business" 🤡

This has literally became a widespread joke in game with people asking others to go on their alt on the enemy server and perma treb sm so that they can repair every 5min and farm the rewards, but some people here are somehow convinced that all those outer wall huggers are 🤩 doing their best to defend sm 🤩 @Lan Deathrider.5910 "Meh how dare you complain about the devs, they care so much about wvw that they finally changed something after only a few years ! But you're just scaring them away booh." Man I can't picture how delusional you are for thinking devs are scared by people complaining on forums.
