  1. I did try to learn both Spellbreaker and Bladesworn. I actually get the mechanics of those 2 specs but I don't have a good timing. I like how Spellbreaker bonks alot but yeah, I can't really manage to use them effectively.
  2. Tried warrior. I really like Spellbreaker. But seems like Spellbreaker doesnt like me.
  3. In terms of versatility, which one is more versatile for various builds and all around? Would I go for Engineer or Revenant?
  4. Tried to play Vindicator and Mechanist. Both are fun in their own way. Currently playing Condi Mech now and man, it's fun crushing those champs in open world.
  5. Actually I'm thinking the same. But I can't really progress with the story if I can't pick a main. I also somewhat have limited time to play for a while and since I started to get lazy to play various classes. (I'm actually lazy to learn each elite spec mechanics)
  6. Been playing my Necromancer for almost 750+ hours now. Continously playing it for PvE and PvP contents everyday. Finished the story content and quests for mounts. Its my most played class throughout my playing time and already tried playing each of its elite spec for different contents. But in the last 2 months, its been pretty repetitive and somewhat boring. The content of the game still gives me excitement but the repetitive throwing of the same skills from my necro is what it makes me bored. Quitted for a month and now I'm thinking to change my main for good. I do have alts right now and narrowed down the choices. Either Revenant, Engineer or Mesmer but I'm still open for other suggestions. I also have Ranger and Guardian that I don't really play My criteria would be: 1. Versatility. Can be pure DPS or Support DPS class 2. Not that complicated but a little challenging to use. 3. Large AoE skills. I really like crashing a group of mobs 4. Would love to play a class that is not really popular but still somewhat useful in end game contents. Any suggestions? Thank you.
  7. For PvE, Guardian - Have lower HP compare to other class. Revenant - Limits of skills per legendary stance. I mean, I get the concept of the class, but I feel like I'm locked into a set of utility that is given to a specific legend. Engineer - Lack of weapon choices. Not everyone loves kits. Elementalist - Squishy #1. Not the class for me. Mesmer - Squishy #2. Needs alot of kiting. I like the GS skill but I'm not really into class that needs alot of kiting. Necromancer - Limited movement speed to be honest. Really slow. Can't really tell what I do dislike about Ranger, Thief and Warrior.
  8. S Tier: Necromancer - Currently my main. This is the only class I play right and I really like the mechanic of Reaper and Harbinger. I just don't like its limited movement utility. Engineer - Used to be my main (Scrapper). Like how you can cover most of the roles with a single class. Ended up bored. A Tier: Revenant - Used to be my main too. But somehow I ended up disliking the energy management. But really good class since it's meta in every game mode. B Tier: Guardian - Played it with 40+ hours only to find out It's not really for me. But I like Dragonhunter. Mesmer - Simple to use with portals. I like portals. C Tier: Ranger - I like Soulbeast and pet management. But made a mess with it. Warrior - I just don't like banner but definitely fun to play in PvE D Tier: Elementalist - I play RPG, not piano. Not for me Unranked: Thief - This is the only class that I didn't try. Can't really say. But Deadeye are annoying in PvP
  9. Comparing to Reapers DPS output, which would would you recommend? I would like to know if you have a specific build for OW solo champs? I find my Vindi kinda squishy.
  10. I'm so sorry. Edited. Added Virtuoso specifically.
  11. So I just crafted an ascended GS and bought a specific skin for no reason. Now I want to try it out but dont know which spec should I go with. Can I ask which would you prefer with GS user? This would be OW and PvP. I'm thinking to go with Reaper but man, the population of reaper is insane right now. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
  12. Thanks for this. I really appreciate it. I do enjoy both but yeah, kinda tired switching class every now and then. Scrapper and Mechanist are fine for me and they're kinda fun in fractals (at least for me) I also like how Reapers do get me to top DPS every run in fractals so that's also a point for me. EDIT: I do like the damage output or Reapers but it feels kinda slow for me to be honest. That's why I keep on thinking maybe if I should go with Scrapper.
  13. Yep. I think if I play versatile class, I don't need to switch class from time to time since I can cover up what is needed based on the class I'm playing. I'm just being hesitant since If I want to play WvW, they might not need an engi for zergs.
  14. Can I outdps Reaper using either Condi mech or Holosmith?
  15. I usually play open world and metas. But I do run low tier fractals when I have time. I would start playing WvW and Raids if I find a team that will suit in my playtime.
  16. So I've been playing for about almost 5 months now and tried different classes (I only didn't try is thief) and I ended up playing my Necromancer (mainly Harbinger and Reaper) and Engineer (Mechanist & Scrapper) I'm kinda tired of switching to different toons every now and then just because a specific toon is not that good or isn't in meta (WvW, Raids). So I've decided to focus only on a class and my choices would be Necromancer and Engineer. My first class that reached to level 80 without any boosting or any help from tome of knowledge is my Engineer but I ended up stocking it since I get bored with it. Then tried Necromancer but a little straightforward gameplay. Any advice?
  17. i see. thank you. last question. in between the two, which one has less complicated rotation to be effective?
  18. damage output maybe. or it might be I like to have a more relaxed gameplay. I find it fun to play though specially in PvP. (always top kills). I like to have a class which can be self sufficient and can be greedy dps as well. maybe thats what I'm looking for.
  19. I have both but I can't tell the difference yet in both instanced PvE and PvP. I tried both in PvP lobby but can't really tell until I used it in instanced PvE content. Though, I have fun using Scrapper in PvP. I currently have one but SPB seems to be fun also. It's just that I'm looking something I can't find in Scrapper.
  20. Does the playstyle makes it boring or it's kinda struggling in some situation unlike scrapper?
