  1. Oh I would love to have 1v1 mini season. Let us see who is the real king of the hill :D. There are ways to make it more interesting, for example: match 5minsfor every second you dealth more dmg than your oponent, you get 2 pointsfor every second you got more healing than your oponent, you get 1 pointfor every kill you make you get 301 points1st one to reach 900 points is the winner or the one who got more points when the time is over
  2. There was once a poll, a poll made by Arenanet themself whether ranked should be solo queue only and people voted yes, it should. We had that for what? Two seasons? Untill some unnamed streamer cried so much that they came back with duo queue without any explanation why.
  3. The leaderboard says quite the opossite. I give you one more example. Look at Ajax for example. Him solo queuing ending in p2/p3. Him duo queuing ending in legendary. I believe Jaw made it once to legendary too only when he duo queued, he never did as solo queuer.
  4. How the game should meassure your skill, based on what? TOP stats? Many times it was proven TOP stats is a bad idea, people would rather hunt the stats instead of keeping up with the game objectives. So how else would you meassure your skill? According your performance vs an enemy? This is a team based game right, you can go cheap side node build and win all your 1v1s, but your team is strugling to win any team fight due bad team comp and you can't help them much with your 1v1 build. But what if you played support FB to aid your 2 necros in the team fight? You could shift the game on your side. Just because you play strong 1v1 build and win most 1v1s, it doesn't mean you did the best for your team to win the game, it doesn't mean you were the best at all. The game has personal rank system in team based game, already this is nonsence, it will NEVER ever be perfect. But how to make it as fair as possible? Perhaps same conditions for everyone? Same team comps with the exact same builds against each other? That would be boring as hell right. But the fact is, the game tries to redistribute classes equaly, but it doesn't care about specialization. It might be huge difference if you have core guard, dragonhunter or firebrand. Already this small fact can be game breaking and the game is not even considering that. Yes, the current system doesn't make much of a sence, but you would hardly find any better, sadly.
  5. The pool is about duo queue mate. It is team based game, which means 5man queue in ideal case. But for that we simply don't have people. You would end up fighting the same teams over and over again and outside of prime time you would wait ages in queue. You saying it's not for solo queuers, yet you need them to ever get a game running. Solo queuers are forced to play with duo right now. Like I said before, either 5man queue or solo queue only, nothing between.
  6. Match quality suffers from low population already. Duo queue making it even harder for the algoritm to balance the games properly. Also if we want to keep the seasons competitive and fair then there should be same conditions for everyone. Duo queue is an advantage, the very TOP of the ladder is always occupied by duo queuers as a proof. How this can ever be healty for a competition? There should be either team queue only or solo queue only to keep the seasons as fair as possible. Nothing between. As there is not enough players for team queues, there should be solo queue only. But for those, who want to play with friends should be given the possibility = 2v2, 3v3, Swiss. And ATs should be calculated to ladder. PS: The community voted about this already, just btw. We have chosen solo queue only. Yet Anet decided to ignore it and bring duo back.

I believe there is way to do it with every class, but you really need to sacrifice everything for the one big hit or insta high dmg. zerker FA Ele (sure it's not one skill but can still do insta kill with combo)riffle War Engi - not sure here as I don't play engi, but zerker Engi could maybe onehit ppl with Grenade Barrage?zerker Guard with good timing could onehit with Mighty Blow + Shield of wrath

  9. I agree with increasing the minimum games per week to 30. Right now ppl too much camping their ranking which leads to less ppl queuing and worser MM. Some ppl might have problem to make it, but if actually want to achieve something, it's never for casuals. These are the nice example of rank camping, meanwhile they are all playing unranked
  10. Most people complained about Revenants ambush dmg, which is a combination of Phase traversal and Deathstrike. None of these was changed (when it comes to dmg), so I expect people still keep complaining about Rev. Rev was nerfed hard, yet again. Some of the changes might make a sence like notoriety, but most of the changes are absolutely dumb. What was OP remained OP, where a Rev was strugling was nerfed further or is overlooked again.
  11. I want this to be hear so I add my voice too. I personally didn't play Druid anymore as IMO it became low tier and there are much better and more competitive builds. I would really like to know what's behind this nerf as it was absolutely inappropriate. The last "balance patch" in general brought actually even more unbalance than balance and I have the feeling Anet balances according random forum posts and random streamers wishes which is very disapointing. I am Khaime, veteran PvP player with 15k+ games played and 8,5k+ on ranger itself. Being platinum 2/3 each season.
  12. People also voted for solo queue only, yet we have a duo queue allowed :-). Why not give it a try for a season or two? Would be interesting to see how that works.
  13. Unless they keeping the 2nd acc in plat by playing meta build time to time. Nobody should play/test build they are unfamilar with in ranked games. Ppl should always give it the best as it's the end game. Go test your builds in unranked. Call it smurfing or wintrading, it's the same in fact.
  14. Queuing with 2nd acc playing random build or a class I suck on could be considered wintrading? While queuing my main as a duo with legendary tier players only. Are there actually still ppl who think the leaderboard reflects players skill? LoL
  15. This is just all wrong. Neiter of that skill is actually hitting any hard. I mean sure they do nice dmg, but comparing it with the dmg of skills of holo or war, it's in line with them. Rev could easily stack 25 might in no time and together with Notoriety trait (might grants more power) the power of Rev was boosted so high. But this was already nerfed in the previous patch. Now ppl more likely complain about burst dmg which is combination of phase traversel ( which grants quickness for 3sec, unblockable attacks and 25% dmg boost for next 2 hits) and the folllowing hits, usually deathstrike. Now, here you have your OPness. It's basically port bomb which is hard to avoid due quickness and fast cast of deathstrike , it can't be blocked and deals 25% more dmg. So you should rather look at "Phase traversal" utility instead of nerfing weapon skill, which imo doesn't need a nerf. Also don't forget Revenant is very vulnerable to conditions and hard CC. You also seem to have no clue about the rotation in real fight. Revenant will also have hard time to win 1v1 vs any class and same skilled oponent so you saying total nonsence. Revenant only job (meta build) is to burst and quick kill, nerf this ability too much and the class (build) is deleted. Also ".... and prot spam with glint elite" /facepalm
  16. All these topics about nerfing "InsertRandomClass" won't help anything. Can you not be more specific? What exactly do you find OP? What skill? What trait? What utility? When we know, we can actually discuss the problematic parts and evantually propose solution.
  17. SoloQ is the only way how to keep the seasons somehow competitive. Merging solo and team queue would be one big mess as there are simply not enough players to keep the matches balanced. A ranking for single players in merged queue would kinda lost it sence.
  18. Where is the high sustain coming from? I saw that AT and i believe he was running lbow/gs, we heal as one, sick em, quickening zephyr and one wolf pack, soulbeast, beastmastery, wilderness survival. Marauder or demolisher amu with eagle rune, smokescale and owl. This build has just one purpose and it's unblockable lbow burst damage every 60sec ( w/o OWP every 36sec). Damage is dealt in very short window of like 3sec and can do 25k dmg+- (on low/no defence enemies). If enemy manage to dodge you already do less then half of it. Releasing such burst makes you waste every single utility. If you are not aware, rev can melt you down in 2secs, same goes for war. Gotta low how ppl bring all the possitives of 5 diferent builds together and than claim how a class is super OP :D
  19. I don't see why bunker scrapper should be considered OP. It's like the only bunker build left in PvP and it can't do anything more than bunker, which is perfectly fine. We had builds like condi mirage who was able to bunker point while dealing insane condi damage. I could understand this being considered OP. But bunker scrapper? Come on. It has very low damage potential, you can still 2v1 it, you can still cc it out of point or you can still outrorate scrrappers. Scrapper which has nothing to bunker is completely useless. It has just one single purpose. It starts to be really annoying to see people complaining about every single thing in the game. Nerf scrapper and it will be erased from PvP once again, because what would be it good for? Ask youself. The same goes for berserker. It has now strong burst damage, but for the cost of much lower survibility, which is again perfectly fine.
  20. I understand what you mean and it would be more fair, but imagine top players going duo and farming points in off-time. They would gain a lot of points ending at 2500+ points for example. How would the matchmaking make a fair game with someone having 2500 while the rest available ppl in queue having around 1600-1700. Such game would be totally messed up, or the algoritm would simply not find anyone in your range and you could be stucked in queue for hours. No, due small player base, this is the only way, I don't like it either, but thats how it is ...

  22. I have spent some time playing soulbeast. Tried both power and condi build. Power build is quite fun to play, but it has not much of use in PvP. You can pew pew from range, hoping that your team mates can tank long enough untill you pew pew the enemy a little more and kill them. The dmg while playing zerker amu aint really bad, but ofc suistaine is very low. Once someone get close you can't do much, either try to run away or die. Though, Deadaye can do this job much better I think. Condi build is garbage. Tried various builds and weapon setups but nothing was really working. The condi preassure is just too low. Dagger has no use in the current Scourge/Spellbreaker meta who destroys you at close range easily. Deadaye eats you freely from range as you lack mobility to chase him. Although I would personally love to use dagger, the design is really sloopy and doesn't fit to current meta. The sword feels still superior to dagger, with the evades and better mobility it offers there is no reason to use dagger over sword in any build be it power or condi. What I would like to see on dagger is for example nr2 skill (Double Arc) working like theif's sword nr2 (Infiltrator's Strike). In beastmode the beast skills are really great and I wouldn't change a thing. The other skills F1 and F2 feels on the other side very underwhelming when it comes to dmg. Considering I use them in full zerker build the skills are not even worth to spent the time using them. The new pets are mostly nice. Gazzele is obviously OP and needs some shave or rather it NEEDS a FIX. While in most cases the charge dmg is OK (up to 6k crits on squishy builds) time to time it does some ridiculous dmg like 15k and once I even manage to kill-finish a guy. He didn't even go to downstate but was instantly dead. All in all I don't see soulbeast replacing druid. Druid is superior and offers way more then soulbeast can.
