  1. Thanks multicolourhipster. you are legendary. so we currently have NO ONE in EU legendary rank - number 1 on 1,783pts. - 140 wins and 37 losses... which is massively impressive by itself. So currently one can go for 1000 rated wins to get their Ultimate title - which is a step forward. But impossible for even God/Goddess, dame, knights of the arena to get the Indomitable legend title. You can statistically get best of the best easier than getting the Indomitable Legend? Stop duo queues and Legendary rank nerf down to 1600 (and nerfs to the others) or would this be too much copium? sorry, different topic to OP but all interlinked somehow.
  2. I am in the band of players which would enjoy ranked without Duo Queue in 5v5 ranked leagues. Keep 2v2 and 3v3 seasons duo or trio queue though - Only because they are a lot shorter seasons and the stakes/ rewards/ prestige/ titles are not as high. Plus adding mATs 2v2 and 3v3 Deathmatches would be awesome. But this is for another thread. Ive been recruiting a LOT of new players for the Mb PvP guild and i have seen an increase in players trying out and having fun in PvP (MAY IT CONTINUE TO RISE). Having Duos literally carry a team of one or two new players who had individually solo queued just makes, at least on a common sense perspective, fairer to get rid of due queueing. The times have changed/ are changing. I hope Anet can analyse this more with their internal stats and review this - they are smart and want the best for this great gamemode. Does anyone have a link to old pvp new updates in their decision(s) to keep/ reintro the duo queues? Im interested to get a reminder of the devs thought processes/ explanation at the time?
  3. pvp has a massive problem with match manipulation and idle players in PvP. EU people at night laugh due to one player ruins all the games - Tshuuu. im fed up of playing the game at night because of this mess. PvP is so fun but it just take a minor few to ruin it.

GRENTHS DOOR If there is a day of the week and time of day you usually play, what are they? EU primetime evenings and some daytime, both roaming around and within a blob. Did your world restructuring matchups feel more or less balanced than your regular WvW Server matches? Very much more balanced (to an extent) Did you select a WvW Guild for the beta? Yes Was your guild part of a larger alliance guild? - what alliances? none in game. why is this question relevant? People were choosing one guild or no guild, this is only what matters right now. Alliances doesnt exist in the game yet. My personal opinion is Alliances are a waste of time. bring GUILD WARS not ALLIANCE WARS. this is not GW1 and alliances will complicate functionality, limit the spread of players across the the worlds as they would form 'clumps'. Allinaces from what i believe do not offer different or beneficial gameplay. Were there usually commanders around during your normal playtime? yes Which week felt most balanced and enjoyable for you? before Jan 26. What part of world restructuring felt the most well executed? More people entered wvw and got excited of the gamemode due to them seeing an improvement, better balanced fights - they got worse after the relink - but still significantly better than the the existing system. What part of world restructuring feels like it has the most room for improvement? Needs to go on for longer. Our Guild recruited 200+ people in the betas and some of them took advantage of customer support transferring them to us as time went on. There was a lot of new players who joined the guild and people that had quit WvW but came back after more than a year or longer to give it another go. So i would advise do not lose the momentum you have build with the Betas and keep up the communication. Please communicate to us why Alliances will make things better and help get rid of the issues we have in the current system, without making other significant changes to spread the quality of players to different places or 'tiers' - e.g. Pips in EotM or other changes where you are confident that the player numbers will increase - Are you planning for GvG to happen in guild hall arenas? this is hardly going to happen with the no rewards so there will always be toxicity between fighting guilds/ server blob ignoring the matchup and the WvW sieging game vs guilds, havok groups and individuals that like a mixture of ppt and ppk (including pug who just want their weekly rewards to get the backpiece or armor. You guys are smart - im sure you have considered systems to accomodate GvG - just for example GvG automated Tournaments? Im sure this would hit the spot for the fighting guilds aswell as grow a flourishing healthy GvG scene - putting the GUILD in GUILD WARS. This would also help banish the unhealthy toxic server patriotism that exists too. If a lot of the new guild members were able to switch easily during the beta weeks mid week, how can you get good quality feedback and fair results? How many other guilds did the same thing as soon was they were aware they could just contact support to bandwagon to a friends guild on an winning matchup? Please make it clearer the tiers in the matchups - the only resource available to us to my knowledge was next.werdes.net - which after relink had in the bottom 'T5 matchup' predominantly WSR server players vs RoF server player vs Elona server players? From my point of view, and as someone, like many others, heavily invested into the game, have played GW2 from day 1, plays within the TOS with a couple of paid accounts. It was an absolute pleasure I could login to one account play for some time talk to people in the matchup and then log off and log back into the game on a different tier to get a feel for this too. I can confidently say AFTER the relink - The matchups on 'tier1' which had Moogooloo and 'tier5 which had Grenths door went completely skewed one way. The other three matchups were fun to play and a lot of action in and looked so much fairer.
  5. Agree - EU too split up. A number of our guildies would love if Anet can re-introduce Pips in edge of the mists also. 24/7 WR beta when? I hope its a case of tweaking your algorithm then back to beta? *fingers crossed* Update us as soon as you can
  6. You will never stop the whiners - they wont change. Real gamers wouldn't whine and therefore go into WvW to help the World they are in.

Possible re-look into winning matchup/skirmishes incentives? = certain PvE/PvP buffs outside of WvW like there was something like this in the early days....? so vets have something to work for when in WvW AND give gamers some small incentive to play other game modes, rather than AFK on top of keeps walls waiting for a voice commander to tag up? maybe this is too much copium.?

  9. Were having an amazing time, our guild rebuilding since the new year has grown significantly, its reminding me a little of what it was like just after POF release. Generally, the beta has been great and eager to hopefully enter 24/7 WR beta if relink tomorrow is a success. Please Anet clarify what this beta actually is 50% of people are still using Alliance betas. it would save a few of us time typing out what the beta is actually for and more time for us to play WvW or organise and lead groups, guilds open tags without any miscommunications and frustrations players are having trying to get their head around what and why this is happening. There was some little conflicts arise early on where a full 50 man fight squad didn't want to play the siege world v world game and decided just to look for a blob fight - didn't care about the matchup and constantly got wiped and flaming the rest of the roamers on the borderland! Later on in the week, 3 or 4 guilds were fighting in one corner doing GvG and queues for that BL meant hardly any flipped towers or Keeps. Veterans of the game have no incentive to play the game to try to win the matchup, or possibly enough incentive to take a leading role if they are happy with their established guilds and want to stay closed group raids, no recruitment. which is absolutely fine, this is how a subsection of gamers enjoy wvw. Its common sense i hope that if Anet gets its algorithm on point, the matchups will balance out in time. Hence beta, IMO should extend passed february 2nd. Massive number of new entrants to the wvw game mode. I noticed the beta worlds that actually had a positive frame of mind with zero toxicity and frankly those that worked together positively won the matchups and organised themselves and are having fun. Quite apprehensive now that our guild may not actually stay in Phoenix dawn - however we have no choice but to take a leap of faith that the next two weeks will mean more excitable matchups according the Anet 'shards matchmaking?'. Its clear we simply cannot go back to the previous state of WvW where it looks the majority of the people complaining unreasonably on the forums are the ones on the forums daily, on the reddit daily, whilst on their second screen happy camping at their shiny big castle SMC they had since reset twiddling their thumbs because they got their Titles, UD and God of WvW and haven't got a great deal better to do! Make winning matchups count - bring back things similar to season/ tournaments where we can work towards perma Gold, silver and bronze dolyak finishers! Plus even some kind of leaderboard system of sorts within the world itself - such as such as guilds with highest k/d ratios. I hope more can but done to improve the game mode - World restructuring a great step in the right direction!

  11. Hey forum enjoyers, I played some Dungeons paths today and a few things i thought to bring up! There is many identified loot that drops - such as Iron shields, Caudecus's Journal and Beetlestone Bands with the jewels... - Firstly wouldnt making the drops more uniform help? Such as Unidentified gear and for the Jewels on the Journals (for example) be ones we can add to material storage? or am i missing a trick? Gilded Jewel worth only a couple of silver. Nice source of champ bags by the way 🙂 Some parts of the Dungeons seem incomplete or dungeoneers seem to want to skip a bunch of enemies. Wouldn't it be great if killing these groups were worth killing - especially as nice mats can drop already - or is this a player/ community issue to try to get to the end asap? Just an idea, by killing an enemy in Dungeons gives a chance for one Tale of Dungeon Delving drop - then more time wold likely be spent in the Dungeon rather than a speed 3-5mins run? I say some parts are incomplete, however it maybe a stretch to get some developer time at all on it. (too much copium?). I've watched Wooden potatoes throughout the years and i recently came back across the Dungeons series on youtube he did around 4 years ago. Some nice points (and still relevant) points he had made those years ago. As a Crafting enjoyer, it seems some recipes were taken out. in my opinion, would be nice to reintroduce those, even if they are account bound? Can you tell I have a completionist gamer streak? (sorry) By watching the likes of MightyTeapot streams on Twitch - I've heard 'Dungeon Rush' raised a few times and I actually look forward to it. I hope this will spark some further dungeon interest, even if for Nostalgia at least! Would to love to read your thoughts too, thanks!

  13. Again, i do appreciate the fractal Rush event and I'm not sure how often these will run, for the rewards it brings currently, at least quarterly a year is probably fair? But Community chests (which gave sense of community in these rush events) and the CM chest tonic was highly missed. It was nice to run through all the tiers other than the daily recommended ones - I 'fractalled' with many newbies and it was fun, we had fun. - however , I once I got the Fractal rush champ achi in less than 3 days no sweat, it was back to normal CMs, T4s, recs. There was no need to get any extra fractal as Fractal rush trophies after completing 100 dont drop anything else - maybe a little bit of karma that many people have excess of a believe. Shame we cannot salvage the Fractal Troubleshooter's Tags into stabilizing matrices - many people wont have any need for it after extracting the agony infusion so just sitting in my bank. The anguished Tears of Alba are of no use to many people and would be great to sell for fractal relics - just like other potions sold at the Merchant. So three tears are just sitting in my bank for now also. Pristine relics are quite valuable to certain players going for fractal god, ascended trinkets and the gold fractal weapons - by doing CMs, T4s and Recs i believe you get 21 pristines a day. So if you're after the LA portal - which is much a convenience and sort after - then 100 is fair IMO aswell as the agony infusion in the asceneded assesory worth 8 gold

  15. As per title - I list my current transactions buying, sort by date and every item doubled. in the list, however when i click one of the two items, it only shows as the 1 buy order at the price (which is still correct).
  16. I'm glad to see Fractal Rush back, however - I feel the reward should be on par with the other years - Potions, boosters, chest of relics, keys.... I hope this event will entice new and existing players who haven't tried Fractals to give it a go and stick with doing them after the week. IMO we need more people actively doing t1-3s, not just mainly CMs, T4 and recs (although these this will always be active due to the gold per hour and fractal god enjoyers - which will always be popular with PVE mains). I would likely do the weekly t1s-t3s most weeks if there was a more active lfg boards in t1s-t3s for people doing fractal numbers which are not already daily recommended. I would really like to have seen the Endless Fractal Challenge Mote Tonic - I'm missing this and was hoping to pick this up this time around 😞 - this could be even be sold for UFE....due to UFE only picked up in CMs.
