  1. Agreed, I didn't need more time... It's not like .15 seconds gives me the extra dodge I need from having dodged the giant bolder, the super leap, the...... the issue wasn't the time to respond for any solid player... it's the fact you ain't got no dodges left cause one hit from any of the CC and your in a chain of dead.

  3. Cause Cjay's duo of staff warriors is farming ranked with warriors not revs 🙂. Basically its not that they're not ridiculous, its that there are other things that are more egregiously so.

  6. I think you were in the match where our guild was a 5 man and in the first 45 seconds we decimated the opponents. We noticed their team was called doing the dailies or something, so we asked what they needed and let them kill us and cap a bit so they could get them. But yeah even in unranked I've heard many complaints about our doing 5 man comps. We end up self splitting our own teams into 2's and 3's to at least get interesting matches. Its not that we're using the mode wrong, your supposed to be able to practice putting a 5 man group together and have some fun with weird meme pre-mades to screw around... but the player pop is so low that its both boring to win by that much and a waste of time for the people put up against it. Plus folks start thinking that we're doing it to beat on un-prepared folks when what we're hoping for is a good close match.

  8. doesn't v3 and v2 season seem really long even though its short. I don't mind death match to spice up between seasons. If that's all there was things would get stale. I think they need to fix mobility creep. I mean my class was designed to be fast, I can't chase down a warrior. Cause I have fair access to super speed if I burn every gyro at the wrong time, but it doesn't actually let me even catch a class that can't port cause of movement skills these days. And if I do catch a warrior... well then I have to hit it 30 times and hope it doesn't land more than one CC on me the entire time.... but that's not the point. The point is that mobility creep made zerging a viable thing. We all talk about power creep, but I think its giving everyone too much mobility that made the dynamics of having different points you'd have to commit to strategically meaningless.
  9. My favourite build isn't fully optimised for v1's (it's mediocre at it) but great at team fights. Some games it turns out no-one has it in mind to team fight and so the primary strength of my build is kinda blown. Happens with pick up games. In general then you should make sure you can at least Mediocre contribute doing something else.
  10. I made plat 1 at the end of the season ... only 130 games though. But right till the end I had the hardest fricken time getting out of gold. Not really AFKers, just silly matches where I was in gold and going up against plat duo's... without plats on my team. Couldn't work it out. Had a rough time of match making this season... at one point I had someone say nah and duo Q with me to see... they decided that with my luck they were not going to duo q again 🙂
  11. I've seen a horrid variation by Hydragean that uses staff and GS. It hits like a truck. I was use to the meta staff build.
  12. That would make sense but I don't believe it is the case. Unless they've recently changed things. I believe last time I checked it's the average plus 50 or something. Which is why everyone uses a Smurf alt to duo with if they want to climb in rank... then the guy who just went up switches out to his bad alt. Note that the bad alts occasionally need to tank their rating by throwing match after match to get themselves low again.   14. Happy to see some vids of what you do with it! I have a very myopic perspective from the couple of games we played. But how is the build dealing with the thieves out there and their imparing dagger and port spam? Those are a pain for my build... and you don't have things like a block on that bow, or a thunderclap to lock them down, or a thunder charge that tracks stealth.
  15. Yeah I've played you a few matches with this build. I do sincerely admire that you put the effort in to get it to kinda work... I thought (SHORT BOW) it was complete garbage... so even being able to play it reasonably is an accomplishment. The other variant I see with it is the Holo version that uses forge for the mele damage and then the bow to supplement. You're hard to lock down and annoying. The shadowy field thing means I have to spend my time off point and moving all the time to assist my team during the team fights. I think v1 you'll have a hard time contesting a side node. It's kinda one of those builds that synergises with a good team that's going to let you stand back and pew into team fights.... it is likely hard to carry a bad team with it. You have to leave if pressure is on you, so I've taken to scaring you off, not over committing to chasing you and then cleaning up what you were supporting. For eeking out win's with a bad team I prefer something that just spams CC and damage. Ash by the way... so we know each other. *Clairified to indicate that it wasn't your build I thought was garbage but the weapon.
  16. Wait! Please FIRST fix the fact that the hammer spin does nothing in the free for all arena in regards to incoming projectiles... the number of times I get shot in the face cause muscle memory makes me think the spin is going to protect me against projectiles.......
  17. I hate the fact that static discharge without a targetable skill is such a fail. I mean really... where my camera is pointing ? Wtf.
  18. Generally with Warriors its there movement skills that give them the incredible dis-engage they can pull off.
  19. No, I am not the one arguing that it should be treated like a boon... that's the other guy.
  20. I think the point is there are effects that are intended not to be part of the boon structure. What you could argue is that superspeed should be specific to certain classes whose checks and balances mandate it. In general this game's biggest creep in the last couple of years has been mobility. It makes things like a Zerg strategy very viable.
  21. Super speed doesn't make you invulnerable either.... are you sure you're talking about the right boon? And in the same way that one specific trait (reveal) affects stealth you can't use the advantages of superspeed while crippled, chilled, CC'd, etc. There's also ports. And you don't need to guess where a superspeed person is, you can just see them. So I don't see why you'd argue for stealth is ok cause it has all these counters, when in reality it h as much more specific and limited counters than superspeed.
