NA central time player but with odd hours (mornings and late nights after 1030/11pm) in the market for a new guild, maybe two. Main two things I'm looking for is L:ost Precipice guild hall (always wanted that guild hall but never had a guild with it), or Windswept Haven, and weekend guild missions. Fairly well experienced player that has been in and out of the game over the years starting to get back into fractals and strikes, and is VERY hungry for raids (raid noob but have been on two runs recently and want more!!!) preacher.9370 in game or otsu5483 on discord

locked POI really has me riled up. I play at work sometimes and when I do I stay away from anything I can't walk away from in a second's notice, so I've largely been running characters through map completion of all maps. Right now my big peeve is Thunderhead Peaks.... either wait for the day we get the purple plate, or redo story for it.... and story isn't that interesting to repeat that many times.....

Alright Anet, it is long past due for this to happen: the meta event participation reward chests we get spammed with. I think we would all greatly appreciate it if those were made to be on par with the other event reward chests that we can just right click on and they get collected and go away without the annoying pop up.

only decent of the two metas is SA. Amnytas puts me to sleep. storyline was done in a day, repeated relevant instances couple days later for achieves, meta achieves done in about a week, exploration done first before story. Masteries get done asap. Events, covered by meta achieves, not many stand out as super fun. Collection wise i'm down to the cards, which i might finish some day, but when all it gives is xp, not really in a hurry to do all that running around for just that. Skyscale? One look at the cost for the charm and i sad kitten that.... a skin and mini isn't worth that, plus whatever else follows after that. So here I am, two weeks to the day, while working full time, with all that completed and down to the overly excessive rift farming, with 60 amalgated essences left to make, on top of ~30 days of metas to try and stay awak through....

yeah.... because 200+ hours of rift farming for essences is such great content.

Its not so much about the gold for me, as it the essence cost. Trying to go for the armor, and seeing what that stupid charm costs I said nope...

what about someone whipping out their credit card to buy gems to trade for gold to buy them off the tradig post?

Something different needs to be done. day two of doing nothing but chasing rifts, and i'm already bored out my mind with it. And this entire silliness of having to use essences, to get essences is quite counterproductive, especially as consumable items we use at each rift that are good for ONLY that rift. i'm not against the motivations, but they should have been done as a buff item with the same timer as food/utility consumables rather than a 1 time use. i've had more ambition doing wvw armor for 6 months than i do for this armor as the current means of aquisition and sheer number of drops stands. As it is I was ready to get off the SotO maps as soon as the meta achievements were done, but with having to have so many essences, and what looks like ~35 days of daily SotO metas.... I'm forcing myself through it because most likely by the time I get the proper ambition to do it, it will probably be next to impossible to get done because there won't be as many people doing it, especially the meta events.

For the love of the Six can we please go back to the old daily achievement box in the top right??? If I'm in pvp or wvw, I don't want to know what the dailies are for pve, i want to be able to see what the dailies are for that game mode at a glance without having to go into the daily achievement and select watch on those particular ones!!

I am unable to complete Molten Furnace in Flame and Frost. I have defeated the boss, gotten to the elevator and out of instance, but it is stuck on Find an escape route from the base/investigate the facility's core. Re-entered the instance, had to repeat the boss fight and escape again, and still did not update.

just wondering if anyone knows the reasoning of combat boosters not being usable/stripped away in strike missions
