Unfortunately, I like Guardian (Dragonhunter) the most gameplay-wise BUT I don't like Heavy armor aesthetics at all. 😞 Most of the time I just wear "lighter" Outfits or cash shop armor pieces anyone can wear. My Necro looks gorgeous in Light armor but I don't play her often. I wish we could mix and match Light/Medium/Heavy skins just like in ESO! Not gear, only wardrobe skins.

I changed to LB/GS Marauder-Berserker DH when they started messing with FB and I love it so much! Almost everything I used to dislike about DH was "fixed", like the painfully long cooldown on LB #5, meh traits (they are slowly getting better!), and losing my extra movement speed when Wings of Resolve is on cooldown (they just changed the Soaring Devastation trait this week)! 😁 I'm just a casual open world player but my DH is my most versatile and fun character. Thank you, Anet! 👍 Now my only wish is either rework LB skill #3 or make it less clunky to use.

LET US CONTROL IDLE ANIMATIONS: + Add more idle animations, bring back old Human female ones. + Let us choose which animations we want to see and how often. + Option to completely turn off idle animations. This would help build better character themes. Like, I don't want my dark and serious Sylvari Reaper to happily swing her arms! Please, Anet. 😭

And what if I don't use Runes? What if I prefer Orbs and Crests? 🤨

I bought the cheapest one for the combat & reward changes alone. They look like a step in the right direction but we'll see.

I've said this before but I'll say it again. It doesn't matter how much Anet want to sell me stuff, I will NOT buy anything I don't need RIGHT NOW. FOMO does not work on me AT ALL. So many times I get a sudden urge to buy a Gem Store item but it's not available. I wait and wait and waaait until I lose interest in the item... So when it comes back x months later, I just don't want it anymore! And this is why I rarely buy things in this game. I prefer FFXIV's cash shop, everything is available all the time and if I get that sudden urge to buy an item, I just open my wallet and buy it. I spend A LOT more money on XIV because of this (besides the monthly sub). 🤷‍♀️

HoT by far! Best story (Sylvari lore for the win), best elite specs, best massively multiplayer experience (meta events that are still relevant, challenging hero points, etc).

I chose Canach without hesitation, no regrets. 🤩 Best salad boi.

Yeah, I miss the days when Istan was rewarding (Palawadan + Great Hall). The events were short and started at certain times so I could work or rest my eyes between them. Of course it got nerfed into the ground. 😞 I'm not fond of the long, tedious metas that start at random times because I can't plan around them (and finding good meta maps for them is annoying).

HoT by far. I used to enjoy condi Firebrand before the changes but I recently rerolled as a power Dragonhunter thanks to the buffs and I'm having a blast! 😄 I mained Reaper for a long time, though. It has a special place in my heart. I also have a thing for condi Berserker. Daredevil and Scrapper are fun too!

Yeah, like I said in an other thread, metas peaked in HoT and we've been on a downhill. And then there are metas like Dragonfall and Drizzlewood. They are profitable but I hate how chaotic/tedious they are. Teleport here, rush there, now go back, etc... Bleh! Mechanic-wise, I like Dragon's Stand the most, too bad it's not that profitable compared to the chaotic metas.

EoD is meh. Story - 5/10, some good moments but too many boring parts and tedious tasks. Map design - 5/10, Cantha's beauty was ruined by the jade tech stuff. Map exploration - 5/10, Kaineng and Echovald are ridiculously annoying. Meta events - 3/10, metas peaked in HoT, we've been on a downhill. Elite specs - 4/10, none of them made me switch mains. Fashion - 2/10, at this point only Gem Store items look good. Masteries - 3/10, a couple of useful things but most of them can be ignored. Turtle - 1/10, totally useless besides some metas. Jade Bot - 3/10, good idea, bad execution. Skiff - 1/10, my Skimmer does it better. Fishing - 1/10, I don't care but I'm glad fishing fans are happy! So can we have player housing now? 🥺

Ahh, I'd sell my soul for Shortbow Guardian! SB skills with tons of Burning! 🤩

Sylvari. I agree with everything Ventari's tablet teaches us. Barabbas.8715: "Silvari - Like Norn but can't breed so why bother?" - I'm childfree so this is a huge plus, lol. (Sylvari can have sex but they are sterile, lucky salads).

Yeah, still no roadmap and when I go to the main site, the 3 latest news are Gem Store updates... It's quite depressing, tbh. 😐

I don't care if they are Legendary, just add them to the wardrobe. Also let us convert Nightfury into an infusion so I can wear it with Outfits. 😭

I totally agree! Too many times I have a sudden urge to buy some fashion but it's not available. And then months later when it becomes available I don't want it anymore because I came up with a different look I don't want to change, lol. This happens to me all the time, I've saved hundreds of dollars because of unavailable items, too bad for Anet. This is exactly why I prefer the FFXIV cash shop, everything is available all the time and they get more money from me besides the monthly sub fee because that sudden urge is a strong force. 😝

I'm a casual open world player and I just want to say thank you for halving Hunter's Ward's cooldown in PvE because I've been asking for this for YEARS! 😄 I don't know the Math behind builds and stuff so I don't know how good the Longbow buffs are in serious content, maybe someone else can comment on that. It's a good start but please don't forget that Dragonhunter exists and we still need improvements! One thing I really want is a Deflecting Shot rework because it's boring and clunky. I can't even use it in group content because of the knockback, why would I do that when the mobs are standing in ground AoEs? And I don't want to block missiles on my weapon skill, I'm a Dragonhunter, I want to hunt. 😛 I'd prefer a more offensive skill, an arrow that explodes on impact for AoE damage and grants Fury or Might.

Roleplay QoL: better idle animation control, please. Option to choose what idle animation(s) I want to see, how often or even turn them off. All these would be totally optional of course. Reason: If I roleplay as a serious Sylvari, I don't want them to happily swing their arms and smile every 5 seconds. Getting rid of the arm swing would also fix some clipping issues with weapons.

I watched the video and I was confused. The game actually looks better when you click on "None" at your settings. When you click on your custom filter, everything becomes too blurry for my poor eyes. I only use +30 sharpen and +20 vibrance as my settings, everything else is fine.

As a Guardian main, yes! I'm not fond of heavy armor in general, most of the sets look like tin cans. The older ones are especially bulky and have ugly textures. I'd like to see more armor skins that look like medium/light armor. More cloth/leather materials and less metallic stuff, please.

As a LB/GS user, I would sell my soul for a Storm Greatsword so I'd finally have something that matches my Storm Bow.
